Hi folks, thought I'd start us off.
Not much to report but I managed to master posting videos on the Daily Update today.
Have packed my case, just got to do OH's today and pack the car up tonight ready for the early morning start on Monday.
Will have a lot to catch up on when I get back but hope all goes well with you all and thinking of you TerryM, OH, and the funeral this week.
Take care all, God Bless.

An update on the puppy. Apparently it is causing mayhem and Opal is afraid of her! No pictures yet!
Tiger Signature
Mayhem in what way Tiger? And here's me thinking Opal might mother it :)

Not sure but no doubt I will find out sooner or later.
Look forward to hearing more. Hopefully things will settle down given time.
Gotta be quick today. I'm off for coffee morning which extends through lunch.
Continuing holiday saga. Wednesday we visited Nuremberg for lunch - another city I had seen before, then arrived in Rothenberg about 4pm. This was a town I have long wanted to see. Everywhere quaint old buildings, winding streets, cobblestones. I dragged myself around to see as much as I could, went to dinner with the group but returned to bed while they did a walk around the town with the "nightwatchman".
Thursday we visited Bayreuth for lunch, don't remember much about this. Arrived in Dresden late afternoon. I "picked up" another Aussie lady over dinner, aged a mere 82, she was visiting friends across Europe by Eurail pass! Some people are ever young. Our hotel was rather swish, floor-to-ceiling glass window (not good for vertigo), and a shower with glass walls in the middle of the room. As you can see, there was a curtain.

Evening all: Electrical hooked up for fountain; trench filled in; roses got fed today too; even managed to snatch an hour in the hammock.
Alan: Wow. That's 89F here - way too warm, and humid too. Yuk. Good that Andy Murray did well and seemed more comfortable. Would be nice to see him win big, though do like Federer and Nadal.
Diane: 3,000 miles is only the distance between LA and NY! As Cirrus notes, not sure all the dinosaurs are gone. :-)
Tiger: Cute kitty story - Redding is north of San Francisco and inland from the coast in the central valley (very, very hot!) Opal is afraid of the puppy? Well, it's probably pretty rambunctious.
Lindybird: Oh that poor cat in the second photo; can't believe that smiley face in the third one. What a treat to see Sweetpea again.
OG: Nice to see so many Blue Damselflies. I just searched for them on Google Images; lovely color.
AQ: I was surprised when I was looking (online) at European hotel rooms and saw so many bathrooms with glass walls and doors. Glad they had curtains! Swish indeed.
OK, off to do other stuff. Take care and really hope the weather is cooler and dryer for UK folks tomorrow.
Good Morning: Its bright and sunny here, but not going to be as hot as of late, they say. It certainly looked very warm at Wimbledon last night, even well into the evening. We had a little thunder mid evening, and some heavy rain just briefly. Very humid all day .
See that there is more from AQ about her trip - & I havn't had time to read the last bit, yet! Oh Dear, must catch up....
Good Morning All. We didn't see any rain or thunderstorms yesterday or last night, although it was still so hot last night. Storms forecast for today.
Linda, Lovely that you were able to see Tomasz's first tooth. Maybe have his second one by the weekend. As for the tennis, don't forget Billie Jean King and Martina Navratilova, who changed the way ladies play tennis and the slimmer, less muscly ladies didn't stand a chance against their serves.
OG, Good to see that your son will be able to see his sister on his birthday. Must have been beautiful to see so many blue damselflies.
Tiger, I hope Opal and the puppy can establish a good relationship, otherwise your friend could have big trouble. Early days yet.
AQ, I am enjoying following your tour of Germany and looking at your photographs. I hope, if I live that long, that I will still feel able to travel at 82.
Off to look at AQ's photographs.
Morning all,
AQ : Thanks for your latest on the trip through Germany. That hotel room was very transparent.
Tiger : We had the same problem with Hamish when he was a puppy. We had an older black lab called Bumble at the time but immediately Hamish asserted his authority and ever afterwards was top dog.
Thanks to everyone else for the chat etc.
I have no problem with Maria Sharapova winning the Wimbledon ladies title.
It was a very warm night so did not sleep too well. Hamish was barking at 3.am so that did not help. We had some rain and then thunder around 7am and it is now much cooler and cloudy. Temp is around 15c. 10 to 15 degrees less than yesterday. This morning we found a frog in the garden. No idea where it came from as there is no water nearby or any ponds that I am aware of. Lots of starlings on the fat balls this morning and a couple of goldfinches on the nyger seeds and a massive wood pigeon on the lawn. More shopping and tennis later. Have a good day everyone.
Would someone please remind me who Opal is? (sorry) - just trying to catch up with the puppy news.
Trish - I've PMd Margo - I'll let you know
AQ, mm modern bedroom in hotel too modern for me !!
Annette - an hour in the hammock sounds good to me . Do you read or nap?
Not watching Wimbledon. Ospreys takin' up my time :)
We had a dreadfully humid day yesterday. Skin just wet all the time. Might just as well have been in Singapore!
Cooler today and cloudy. I've had a late start cos for some reason I didn't wake up until 9.30 am . Not good. Now I'm all behind. Need to do some spring burgeoning pruning just so I can see my garden !!! But it's so warm (for me) I have to do it in bits.
