Daily Update (LG nest) Tuesday June 21

Thanks to everyone for all the great pics and posts.   My heart goes out to both EJ and Odin, it was a lovely day yesterday and felt like summer, today its miserable and dreich.      Odin will do well to get fish in this weather, but we know he will, as he still managed to fish during that stormy day in May so today wont be a challenge for him.    Off out, will catch up when I get back.

PAM, glad you had a nice time in Aviemore and that you enjoyed yourself.     I do hope that they use the satellite trackers on this years chicks, as these are the first chicks I have watched every day since hatching, and I would be so sad to see them go and not know if they are safe and well.

Mary GK tracking can be a mixed blessing. We rejoice when they are successful in their migration and cry when they perish  

4 have been satellite tagged from the LG nest  and we only know of one for sure ( Rothes) that survived 

We know Deshar lost his way and perished in the ocean. Nethy and Mallachie's  tags stopped sending  signals . No one knows if they  survived .

Just looking in before going to the gym and some shopping to do. Looks pretty miserable up there today but at least Odin has produced a F I S H, well done him.  They are eating hurredly because of the weather and lots of lovely chirrups going on. Is it Storm getting the lion's share at present and Star sitting at the back????

The fish is finished ... and EJ is calling for another! Get going Odin :-))
