Daily Update, (LG Nest), Thursday June 16, 2011

I first noticed Storm trying to grab the whole fish yesterday.  I thought I'd posted the capture, anyway here it is:

Here's EJ "Feaking and faffing".  I've called it "feaking" because it's not like the violent attempts at shifting the stick that she does sometimes.

EJ flew in with a big stick ... naturally it went on the chicks! Then she built up the barricade ... and Star decided to help ... unfortunately the stick he/she picked up was Storm's foot!! Poor Storm was not impressed :-))

Evening everyone - just catching up on today's progress....  Thanks all for the lovely snaps...  Has anyone else noticed that there's a lawn growing under that annoying branch that EJ tries to move from time to time - with no success I might add....   She'll be growing marigolds soon !!!

I also think EJ hides out of camera to the right too as I just saw her head !!!!  I use windows Media player when I'm at home to see the live webcam and it seems to give me a wider field of view than on the RSBP webpage....

Thanks Tiger for the stats on EJ's fishing trips. I would put my money on this weekend for her first catched fish since Star and Storm hatched.

Thanks Scylla for reposting yesterday's pic with Storm trying to get the fish. Haven't been here a lot yesterday, so I missed the scene and the pic.

I wonder if Star will keep those distinctive markings on his head, that resemble a Latin cross:

Star seems to be very distinctive all round with her beautiful golden peachy markings around her throat and the back of her neck......

Star could be male - but he/she looks too beautiful !!!!!

EJ has started calling.......
