Hi all-keep forgetting how to get into the forum so handy Alan or was is Tiger put link up.
Been out at work all day and logged on part way through a well behaved feed. Star and Storm are looking a good size now and their feathers are coming through. They seem to be calming down a little from the Terror stage. Things are looking good here.
Had lots of drama and sadness on nests I have been following this year, not good.
For anyone not following any of these-here are some links to excellent bald eagle nest which are amazing.
Best eagle cam is-Norfolk eagle cam in Virginia, as good as LG one.
Mum eagle (Resident with male for over 10 years) was killed by a plane wheel when getting fish for her 3 chicks, they were removed the following day as dad could not bring them up alone to survive. Moved to the Wildlife Centre of Virginia where 250.000 people continued to follow their progress as they made a nest and put up a camera. Excellent care there. Youngest the boy had a little lead in him from his food so has blood tests and special treatment. Middle one girl no problems and they have recently fledged and moved to a flight cage. Oldest girl banged and cracked her shin so had to be separated from rest but will join them soon. They will be realeased in August. So many dramas for these 3.
Sidney eagle cam (Canada)-eldest chick of 3 got toe entangled in fishing wire brought in on a fish. After 6 days and weather improving I watched a rescue mission which went well and the chick was able to be returned straight to the nest-Phew.
Hornby eagle cam (Canada)- where they lost their one chick at about 8 weeks last year suddenly from a lung infection have 2 beautiful chicks this year and doing well.
Carolina Raptor Centre eagle Cam which has just finished-2 chicks hatched in captivity, 1 died in bad weather and the other at 6 weeks went to a hack tower and has flown free a few weeks ago.
Shepherdstown eagle cam where sadly as first chick hatched a new male eagle prevented dad from getting food to the nest so chick died at 3 days and other egg didn't hatch. A few weeks later dad was found dead so new eagle has paired up with resident female so nothing there this year.
3 nests on Channel Islands off LA have been successful with 1, 1 and 3 chicks almost ready to fledge.
Do have a look at these sites as the eagle is as fascinating as the osprey.

Sorry, one of the above duplicated, it was so slow uploading.
We'll have our seconds lying down, mum.
Thanks for all that info, Jillian. Did watch the Norfolk cam for a while but haven't been back since they were off air whilst flight cage was being constructed. Will go back and have a look, also watched the Hornby Island one for a bit, nice to know chicks are doing well. Digressing here.
EJ moved round to feed them whilst they were laid down probably feeling stuffed. EJ tidying up.
Well, EJ has turned her back on us
EJ looking at her brood "How on earth did they get this big, this early?" - Must be all that FISH!!
