Evening/morning all: Evening here; just pouring a little glass of wine......
Can someone tell me what GEMS stands for? Iremember it was used last year but have forgotten. Thanks to all for the wonderful pics and posts and great to see that the family are so well fed thanks to Odin the magnificent
scylla, the noise from the camera has become so loud, I have turned my sound down. I think your moth is just the connection but can't hear a horse, just the bird.
mlake, I think it was something like, Greedy/ great Eating Machines.
GEMs are something like Great/Gigantic Eating Machines :-D
My moth-horse-highland cow :o has been periodically making a noise, it's either wings flapping like a very big moth trapped in something (it's doing it now!) or a large animal near to the mike blowing thru its nostrils, like horses do prior to whinneying.

EJ back and a bit of furniture rearranging, mind out chicks.
Thank you Brenda and Scylla for reminding me. A fair description. There is an annoying buzzing on the sound today so have turned it off.
Hi everyone. Away all day yesterday and spent this morning trying to sort out this computer. Haven't put it to the full test but at least I was able to get the video of The Great Thursday Morning Intruder Alarm. Thanks for that Scylla (connected your name with one of my favourite deserts which I hadn't done before). EJ and Odin as protective of their offspring as usual. Such splendid parents. My, how those chicks grow! Off to put the rest of my PC thro it's paces. Maybe MWSnap witll abandon it's strike now! My thanks to Annette for alerting Cirrus about the problem. x
The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it's not open.
New blog from Richard, really interesting as he has written a fine piece about swifts.
