Daily Update. Friday, 3rd June, 2011

Hi everyone :-)

Thanks for all the brilliant updates, observations, pics, links etc. on yestarday's thread.  Wonderful to see how quickly Star and Storm are growing.  Thankfully the wind has subsided and I hope it stops bothering the LG Ospreys for the rest of the season.

EJ's awake at the moment, enjoying a good preen.

Warning!  This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar.  Approach with extreme edginess.

  • Star is so peaceabel and it's always Storm starting the fights!  Will stand her good stead in the wild I suppose but she's a little Garten at times.

Wow! look at this - it's high summer at LG today

  • Hi Everyone, I wonder whether any of you can help, I have not been able to see the live camera pictures for a couple of days, all I get in the square where it should be is the Windows Media logo coming out at me!  I have sound though!  Sorry to ask but don't know what else to do.  I have been catching up with the antics via the blog.  Thanks

  • They're at it again!

Looks like a rather quiet and calm morning at LG. Odin just arrived with breakfast and EJ is feeding the chicks, so far C1 has got it all, C2 is attempting to climb up the hill and get in a better position. Finally C2 made it and is getting his/her fair share.

  • These poor birds! They have had all weathers thrown at them! Gales, rain. even a touch of snow last month and now they are being baked. EJ is trying to shelter them but they don't seem to want to stay atill or together. Really moving about the nest now.

The mind is like a parachute, it doesn't work if it's not open.

  • I noticed EJ and Odin have built up the defences!

Hi Sue, all I can suggest is you try viewing here

    Hope it works for you

  • My inbound video is full of pauses today, never had the problem before.  And that's before I started to upload mine (which is on 35% now :) ).

  • Good morning all and first of all have a great day Su.  Sun is shining for the bride and groom which makes it even more wonderful.

Thanks to all for the commentary and pics from yesterday and again this morning.  Annette, Heron and auntieb  good to know that we can come on and see what happened while we are in our beds.  Can't help repeating myself but such wonderful captures this year and hooray the wind has dropped at last and they all have sunshine on their backs.  If Odin can catch  6 or 7 fish in very windy conditions wonder what his tally will be today.  When I logged on Star was at edge with EJ who was preening and Storm just resting.  Star seems to have double in size overnight and Storm is coming along fine despite the in-fighting beween then.  I am sure Storm will be fine and well able to cope with the bullying.  Perhaps my memory is bad but don't think I have caught so many feeding sessions as I have had this year.   Had a phone call in the middle of this post and just looked at the cam again and EJ is shading them from the sum.
