Morning all - and morning EJ!
I've just come into the room, and they are eating AGAIN!!! They will soon be GEM's !!
(that's Giant Eating Machines, to you newbies!)
EJ is now eating it herself,as the babies have fallen back into the nest, totally STUFFED!
Cirrus Just hope that the chicks are still in the nest by the time we get there. At the rate they're growing they will have pushed each other out!!
Lindybird Thanks for the explanation. They will soon be G.E.M.S
That's what we called them last year, Pam, when they grew to huge proportions on the rations which the Magnificent Odin brought every day!
Pam I am volunteering at LG from 11 to 18 June so it is possible that I might see you up there. I can hardly wait now. I volunteered back last October and can't believe how quckly time has gone by.
Margobird
I might just be able to fit in a little more, Mum..........
Lindybird it is just amazing how much these 2 are packing away. As you say well on the way to be GEM's. Lovely to watch though and we don't have that awful feeling that they might not be getting enough food. Odin is making doubly suire of that.
muckyduck have a great time. Sounds like a wonderful 3 weeks.
First time on today as out at gym this morning and doing bits and pieces when I got home.
Still notice EJ tucks that 2nd egg under her. Both chicks are enjoying the dry and sunny weather out from under her, while she tidies up the nest cup.
Just love the way they watch mama while she feeds.
