I think I'm doing this correctly.
Poor Odin, he looks well miffed. I think he wants a turn to crouch down on the nest and get out of the wind.
Odin just got knocked over with the wind. If they can just get through till later this pm it will be much easier for them . Frankly, I can hardly bear to watch.
Odin wants his turn at brooding, bless him.
Thanks cirrus for the weather report.
He's still persisting, now EJ is telling him to go get some fish instead of winging. Its so lovely to see the communication between the two.
Off to get some dinner, back later.

Odin, why don't you just sit down beside her.....
I think you are right Su, our precious hero is having a low moment. Don't blame him.
I thought I caught sight of a fish under his left foot at one stage... :-/ Poor lamb, he's been perched there for ages :'(
Oops, I have VLC already, didn't realise it did video. Thanks to everyone for pics, superb video of the stick attack, and for the advice :)
IMAGICAT
Hi Cirrus,
Poor Odin. I'm starting to worry about the strength of the wind up there. It seemed to lift EJ off the chicks for a second or two earlier. Maybe it was just the littlies wriggling that made her move. The wind has dropped here at home but feels very chilly. Hope it gets better, son's wedding next Friday and I can see my hat ending up stuck in a tree or clonking someone on the head!!
Do you think that Odin is staying with his family in case of need in this horrendous wind? Is this customary behaviour? Given the behaviour of some other birds you'd think he'd cuddle up for warmth - but maybe that would make too big a target for the wind.
Its probably too windy to fish so Odin is having a break with his missus until the wind dies down a bit for evening fishing.
