I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Thanks for publicising this, JSB.
I wonder if customers of banks which issue keypads for one-time log-ons will be "immune" to this particular problem... or not :-/
I shall raise this threat on a small-but-good techie site.

Heartbleed..

I have spoken with My Bank and they told me they are not affected but are actively watching, they do not recommend to change password etc.
BUT TO ALWAYS write the address in the address bar..I.e DO NOT use any favourite or bookmark links.Just be aware of anything that appears to be out of the ordinary.

Re;Bleeding Heart ,Hack........scroll and it will give a list of sites affected and what action taken.
Some more info on Heartbleed, I think until the picture gets a bit clearer, I shall steer clear of giving advice locally. Thanks for your comments and links.
Here are some more links, changing passwords when to do it, also which organisations are affected and those who are not.
Luckily my own bank and some of the others as well, say they are clear, i.e. not affected, as they use a different system (different encryption standards).

Can anyone advise????
I have always bookmarked LOTL Diary page and it used to update after closing and restarting, OR click the refresh.
But neither do that now and I have to search the archives ,unless someone has posh linked the BLOG.
Am I missing something simple? any ideas will be appreciated.
Hi SK2, I have my link to webcam via scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/.../loch-of-lowes pinned to tab bar & this page contains all relevant info including up to date blogs, no refreshing required - does this help?

It kind of depends what your aim is. When you are referring to a blog do you want it to stick at that blog or you you want it to slip forward with time.
Now I normally want it to do the former as what I am writing usually refers to a specific blog.
However it you want it to slip then try Loch of The Lowes Blog
Thanks Wendy and Tiger..
Wendy..yes I have that linked, but you have to select the Blog to read.
Tiger your link takes me to the days Blog,
So,yes, either will take me to LOTL.
What I used to do was click on LOTL BLOG from bookmark and it would
automatically show the latest BLOG.
Now when I click from the Bookmark it will only show the last one I looked at, and clicking re fresh, nothing happens.
Appreciate your answers.
EDIT.. apologies (First boob for the 13th) should have said Wendy not Mary.
SK2. In the cold light of morning I realise that I had a number of off the shelf solutions.
If you look at Tiger's Blog you will see a link to a Links to Osprey blogs which gives links to all the main UK Osprey Blogs.
This is also replicated in my Osprey News searching Tool which you find in my signature.
SK2 - It was Wendy that gave you the first link :-)
This is the LINK that I use and it always takes me to the latest blog.
Maybe if you cleared your cookies that might help, seems strange why your link doesn't now take you to the latest blog rather than the last one you looked at.
