Funnily enough, I can't view the video on the link you gave, Alan, yet I can view the RSPB one. When I left and right clicked, then pressed error details, I got this message, which doesn't relate to video clips as far as I can see, just music files.

hi doggie im having the same problems as wendy,i have down loaded silverlight and updated flash player and i still can't view the RSPB feed i have tried your link and can view that ok i use IE9 32 bit

thanks doggie it used to work then it stoped a few weeks/months ago and haven't been able to get working again its ok on the main computer but not on laptop which is what i use when OH wants the computrer

I did ask if you had tried running media player by itself on some video or MP3 file?

Also do you have Adobe Flash player?

And also, is Windows Media Player your default video programme?
