I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Funnily enough, I can't view the video on the link you gave, Alan, yet I can view the RSPB one. When I left and right clicked, then pressed error details, I got this message, which doesn't relate to video clips as far as I can see, just music files.

hi doggie im having the same problems as wendy,i have down loaded silverlight and updated flash player and i still can't view the RSPB feed i have tried your link and can view that ok i use IE9 32 bit

I did ask if you had tried running media player by itself on some video or MP3 file?
Also do you have Adobe Flash player?
And also, is Windows Media Player your default video programme?

Have you tried clearing the cookies. history etc?
