Technical Test Thread

I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.

I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.

Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Tiger just wonder if you could help me,when on Laptop i can get carnyx but not RSPB's live cam when the cam is up i know its down at the moment  its been like this for weeks when on main computer its ok with both, main computer IE is 8 and Laptop is IE 9 it used to be ok with both RSPB and Carnyx but then when i went on after OH i couldn't get the RSPB feed both of us have tried to get it working again with no luck

Might it be something to do with Microsoft Silverlight?

A while ago I could not get the cam to run on Carnyx on the 64 bit IE as there was not a 64 bit Microsoft Silverlight available. Then it did come available and I could use the 64 bit browser.

I know it should warn you but then you never know.

    See   Microsoft Silverlight

    What browser are you using?

  • Yes, sounds like Silverlight to me too. I had to sort that one out when I first got this laptop.

  • I have been looking for info about 'how to upload a spreadsheet' onto a new thread about osprey sat track latest positions, without any success. I know it can be done, can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Now all you need is for the cam to come back.
