I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Sorry for 'pouty-sulky' face SCYLLA, I did try the Carnyx page and it worked fine but forgot to post. I'm on Windows XP, very latest FF 13.0.1. I'm afraid I have no suggestions at this moment.
ps. Can you display the nestcam and wider view cam from RSPB rather than Carnyx?
Hi everybody - I am using Firefox just downloaded five days ago and it seems fine to me - can get Carnyx ok but not RSPB webcam - says I need Windows Media Player but I already have it???

Hi Scylla. I gave up using FF a couple of upgrades ago when I couldn't get the web cam to work. I now open the forums/blogs in tabs in FF and have Carnyx open on the side with Google Chrome and a separate tab for quick reference with the RSPB still cam. I have not yet updated FF to the latest version though - there always seems to be a problem of one sort or another particularly with videos etc. I need my OH to be available to help me out!
Talking about the still cam (open thru RSPB) has anyone noticed that the time seems to out today - by about 6 minutes behind. Must be a Carnyx problem.

Hi doggie and everyone - am after more info - since I installed wireless router (which, in fact, had to be 'wired' cos I didn't have the appropriate USB stick) email through OE has been coming in very erratically - not in time order at all - catch up this morning has been strange and now I have no new emails at all which can't be right as I don't imagine everyone has logged off at the same time!!!! HELP

Seems a funny coincidence though - have been getting hundreds of emails regularly for last 2 weeks or so and speed is no better with this router although talktalk promised me it would be - think I might put the old speedtouch modem back in and see if it goes back to normal!
Hi SHEILA, thanks but my question was for SCYLLA ;-) And re. clock times..yes, MOFFER mentioned that yesterday. I'd not spotted it, seems strange as usually their clock is almost 2 minutes ahead.
WENDY, sorry but can't think what problem might be. Do try Doggie's suggestion and perhaps check for latest update to Windows Media Player?

I've managed to sort out formatting, posting pics, links, posh links etc however 2 issues. Would appreciate some help.
1. Probably the most simplest - I'm missing something here lol
When referring to someone's post, how do you get the pink box with their name within your post?
2. What is the easiest software to use for videos and where do I get it?
