I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

Couldn't have done it without YOU Tiger! You are a STAR :)
The replying to posts thing got me, because when you hit the "reply" icon at the right hand side of the individual post you wish to reply to .... a reply box appears underneath. So I had been typing in that reply box but then when you hit reply, it doesn't include it. Was not obvious to me that I'd need to go into rich formatting!
Anyway, got there in the end :) Thank you again :) :) :)
Well done Tweetie Pie and Mary GK for achieving video posting certificates (or have you got them yet? Hmmmm ;-) :-D)
Mary, I guessed who the compiler of that video was but did not realise that a Badgers eyes could be affected by freshly cut onions.....if you know what I mean :'o
Hi Tweetie Pie, Tiger has an awesome memory. Now that he has mentioned page 3 and maybe 5, it brought back memories of my learning struggles last year. Depending on your browser, some strange tekkie type problem meant that you could not get past page 3*. I guess you will be trying soon, maybe ;-) All the best with your investigations. tBoL :-)
EDIT: Just went back over a few posts and spotted the highlighting technique for a partial quote. Thanks Tiger.
* in fact in IE8 I could not get past the first two posts by Cirrus on that page. FireFox is fine. Odd!

Yes I know exactly what you mean TBoL - affects me that way too.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Lovely colours in that shot, Sandy :-)
IMAGICAT
Links to pictures
Not sure people are aware but there is an option on the insert image <from Url>
To get the URL of a picture right click it and get this menu
You copy the address by highlighting it (drawing the cursor over all of it) and copying it to get the direct link to the picture. Then just insert it where you want it. It is important to link it rather than copy it.
This is our cycling hero at a well known landmark.
For the life of me I can't see how to start a new thread??????
