My 2359hr nightly cut-off problem :-(

Did it again tonight.  Was so tired I forgot to set a different site to record, can't believe it, but 3 different methods of recording the nest (1 RSPB screen capture, 1 Carnyx screen capture, and 1 Carnyx stream download) all went down @ 2359hr.

Before I went to sleep I Googled "auto refresh Firefox" and installed an add-on of that name, but couldn't set it to refresh at a certain time so i selected "every hour", therefore the screen capture recording done on that browser eventually recovered:

The Jaksta recording is showing in Windows Explorer as ending @ 2359hr, the top one "Scotland.asf", end time is under Date Modified.

COOKY said it might be to do with my router and that he might be able to assist :-)  My ISP says there is no record of outages at their end, and I tend to believe them because they do have a record of other outages.  However, can it be coincidence that the 2359 phenomenon has only been appearing since someone at their end reset something to fix the outages I was getting at other times? (which have been fixed) - I suppose it could be :-/

I shall definitely set a site other than our ospreys to record tonight, alongside them.

Been on to ISP again this morning following really bad drop-outs on top of the 2359 problem.  To my relief the operative got suspicious looking at my settings and insisted on resetting MTU (to the same 1500 as it was already, but it hadn't "taken", he suggested) as well as something at his end, he assures me I won't have any more problems.

I wonder if that was what Cooky was going to suggest? :-)
