I have decided to start this thread for discussing technical issues that come up rather than messing up the other threads.
I guess the first issue seems to be pasting Word text into posting boxes.
Recently we have had three threads lockup up as a result of posts involving Word text.

To follow the ospreys on your computer you can use Google Earth - a free piece of software that simulates our planet with satellite photography.
Google Earth is available free from the Google website: http://www.google.com/earth
It's easy to add the osprey satellite data to your copy of Google Earth - just follow the steps below:
http://www.rspb.org.uk/kml/lochgartenospreys.kml
Click OK to add the Loch Garten Ospreys data to the Places list on the left hand side of the screen.
Once the ospreys are in your list of Places you can double click them to zoom straight to their location. You can also use the standard Google Earth controls to zoom and pan around the globe.
The satellite data will be updated approximately once per day. To make sure you have the latest updates, you can tell Google Earth how often to refresh its data. To do this, right click on the Loch Garten Ospreys item in your Places list and choose Properties. Go to the Refresh tab and change the options so that it updates Periodically every 12 hours.
For Patily re :- Google Earth.
Have you installed Google Earth? If not you can do it from this page.
www.rspb.org.uk/.../googleearth.aspx
Then follow the instructions on that page and hey presto, you will have the info.
To block out ALL the osprey action go the tool bar on the left hand side of the map and untick the box that says All Ospreys, I think. Then zoom into Scotland and tick the boxes for Tore and Bynack. That should do it, but if you get stuck give me a shout.
If anyone can explain it in a better way for Patily, then please do as I am no expert on these matters.
Thanks.
