Hi, all. Welcome to a new week!
Thread is free again.
Cirrus Did you post something from Word?

Morning all,
Cirrus : Thanks for your very descriptive piece about Dartmoor. I have had a few holidays in the area some years ago.
Off to the vets soon so no time to chat but thanks for all the earlier chat and pics.
Hope the weather is not as bad as forecast in the north over the next few days. Its going to be tough fishing in that wind.
Here is a Tufted duck enjoying the rain at RSPB Conwy last friday:

Please tell me that the Word button isn't causing the problem?
Best wishes Chris

Yes, Tiger - I highlighted all the text in my post having first copying it. Then I pasted into the Word box and re-inserted it (hoping it woud take over the highlighted text. Which it did) . A lesson well and truly learned. I won't forget again. Sigh.

I think that posting directly from Word into the post may be the problem. It was a problem under the old system but it only loused up the view of the thread. Here it makes subsequent posts disappear. There are fifteen posts to a page so one can count the number that have been made and then make dummy posts. That is how I freed the thread.

Were you using rich format? You also used the Word inset icon?
tiger I always click on the ''use rich formatting' link first if I want the larger text box to open so I can embolden people's names . So, yes. Then I click on the Word icon. I've only recently learned that it has to go into the Word box and inserted before I can bold text. OK?
My original post seems to have vanished into the ether - so here it is again:
Morning Everyone: So windy here and also on the Webcam for poor EJ & Odin, that its rather noisy today!
Hope that Diane and others in the USA are OK in the bad weather reported there.
Here are todays Monday Smiles: some 'silly' pics this time:
-- Have a Good Week, Everyone.
Thanks Lindy. And your originals Monday smiles are back on page 6 :)
Tiger That was the most awful tragedy. Everyone in Northern Ireland was shocked and saddened. A few weeks ago, it was heartrending to see Michaela's father helping to carry the coffin of a police officer who had been blown up in his car. He was a Tyrone Gaelic footballer so a double tragedy for the county.
