I wonder if the lovely wee bobble head will be joined by a sibling today :)
EJ half snoozing at the moment, protecting chick #1 from the elements.
I'm off to roost for a few hours. See you soon.

I was on the telephone ( about 15 mins ago) and noticed tht Odin was back on the nest. I couldn't see any fish but was wondering if any of you saw if he returned with any.
Not so far Brenda but EJ is certainly calling for it now! Even if we can't hear her

The most amazing nest for having spare fish was Seili in 2006. There was always a spare salmon there. See Seili 2006 and also
Tiger Signature
Tiger: What a super clear picture ! I just think Ospreys are such amazingly beautiful birds.
The flesh of the fish is so rich - it couldn't be anything other than a salmon.
That was an exeptional year wasn't it Tiger? Z and me got lots of captures like that. Never been quite the same since then.

Yes it was never the same again or indeed anything like same again.
It makes me wonder why I'm bothering saving my captures of the nest. But then. For me it's better than not having them. One day maybe I'll have an OG camera , learn the skills to go with it, and visit amazing Osprey places . A girl can dream.
I see we haven't had a second egg hatch since I was last on.
EJ fidgity and cam freezes now and again
