EJ half snoozing at the moment, protecting chick #1 from the elements.
I'm off to roost for a few hours. See you soon.

Well, Odin payed a brief visit, brought in a small stick and had a go at trying to move large one again. EJ chirping at him all the time. Mouched around and then flew off.

Thanks Auntie for starting us off and for the great captures. Also to RtB for his and Joan and you all - fantastic of the sunrise.
Radio Chaffinch is now singing his morning song, EJ having a bit of a preen and something caught her attention on the nest. If breakfast has already been delivered then they will be wanting morning coffee and cakes by now.
Off to church soon so back later to catch up. Lets hope No2 chick is imminent.
Morning. thanks to All for the wonderful pics - esp. the ones with the beautiful rainbow effect! - and for all your posts.
EJ sitting, looking decidedly damp this morning:
--- another bad hair day!
Thanks for the pics and updates, Robert the Bruce, your early morning pics of wee humbug being fed are fantastic!
Just finished moving the sticks that bit higher, against the forthcoming winds.

More breakfast :)
Feeding time:
