EJ resting but not quite fully roosting. Quite blustery at LG at the moment.

Well that was worth it! OH had gone to bed, and I had forgotten that we now have the router on a timer to go off at 10.00pm, when we probably won't be on line!!! I had to get him out of bed to sort me out again - just in time. I will now join him. See you all tomorrow. How exciting was all that? There is still light in the sky at LG, EJ is looking quite peaceful now. Oh, I'm sooo excited!!!!

I couldn't resist taking another look! She was well hunkered down, and now I'm really going.
Its going very dark at LG, seem to have lost the floodlight, maybe because a new life has begun and they are giving them some privacy - any thoughts.

She is still fidgiting and trying to get comfortable, little one is cheeping away, light or camera is flickering away.
Back in the morning after all that excitement.
I just checked in before bed to see the good news.
Well done EJ & Odin :-)
Best wishes Chris

Chloe, that was just fantastic to watch your video. Thank you so much.
I have been out all day so it is fantastic to come home to the brilliant news.
Thanks for the video Chloe. I don't think I'll ever tire of watching that happy event :-)

Lynette, there is no 'floodlight'. It's an infra-red light which does not cast a light which the birds can see. Actually, we couldn't see it either, if not viewed through the special lens used for night viewing. The birds will not be disturbed at all by infra-red light. The flickering effect we are seeing is probably caused by the high wind wiggling the light about a bit. Isn't it wonderful we have seen the first hatching? ;-)
Smiles, Jan.
A little bobbly thing with an eggshell hat :))
