Greetings all. Sunday, almost 9.45 am here. Gorgeous pics of flowers & cats & dog on previous thread.Back later.
Hey, we're back together again - more by luck than anything from my point of view.
Wendy, I'm with you on the reverse date set up. Can't make bold type work???
Oh good, managed to log off and get straight back in on my new favourites page. So far so good.
Oooooer - dont know if I'm going to be able to cope.... I do see Tigers sense though, that if you go to your Own Page you can navigate from there to other places.
Awful news from Rutland osprey project. The male of an incubating pair is missing presumed shot. Apparently he went missing in the same area that 2 other birds disappeared from last year. If it has been a shooting I just hope they get whoever is responsible.
They're leaving fish for the female but how's she supposed to raise young alone.
TRISH ditto bold print and though it is 2nd time on new site it was still a stab in the dark
What awful news, Trish - I remember it being really upsetting last year when they were attacked. Hope they can feed the female & the young survive OK.
Trish 2 - use the 'use rich formatting' beside the 'Reply' button .... you can do everything, including add pics, and then post it from there!
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

Awful news about the Rutland osprey ... hanging's too good for some people!
Thanks Joan!
Well hullorrerr folks! :-) (That's Scottish for "good evening") ;-)
To be honest I just clicked on the old RSPB Community icon on my bookmarks bar and found the shiny new site. HOORAY!!! Wasn't expecting to see anything until tomorrow (Friday) but I've managed to stumple upon exactly where I left off.
Thanks for all your posts, pics etc. Always great to hear from everyone. Only just noticed the news on the Rutland Ospreys. A totally sickening situation and as far as I'm concerned anyone who harms wildlife or domestic creatures in any deliberate way is sub-human scum.
Hope you like the picture of the Starling, or as we call them in Scotland: the Stucky. For example: "When Ah put the bird food oot, loadsa Stuckies come intae ma gairdin." "When I put the bird food out, lots of Starlings come into my garden." I'll try and get more in season pictures of them soon :-)
Paul.
