Still awake here, so thought I'd watch the nest a bit longer!
EJ doing lots of egg turning at the moment, she seems to get up every 5 or 10 mins tonight.

Lindybird have you tried Debut Video Capture programme, its so easy to use?
Lindybird, Hi. When I want to capture, I hit 'full screen' then 'print screen' transfer the shot to 'paint', save and insert into the post. Dunno if there's an easier way, but that seems to work for me. :) (maybe the ECDL is sinking in at last!!)
Hi Su What does ECDL stand for ?
It's Odin but dunno if he brought a fish
Web cam seems to be down. . All I get is buffering but no picture even on the alternate site Robert the Bruce provided
Formerly known as Barbara Jean

Hi Everyone. Cam is working for me. Odin is catching 40 winks. Cirrus accepted friend request. Thank you. You're my first. ECDL = European Computer Driving Licence. Not very catchy is it. The acronym works better. Now I have to go and read back to find out whether to rush around asking everyone to be friends with me so that I can stay part of this happy group...argh! And as for Rothes, well what a pleasant surprise.
Hi everyone. Thanks for starting the thread Robert the Bruce. Many thanks to everyone for all the updates and pics from LG today. Great stuff as always :-)Cirrus: ECDL stands for European Computer Driving Licence. I done an ECDL course back in late 2003/ early 2004. Essentially its a qualification that lets potential employers know that you're computer literate.
Barba Jean: The webcam's working okay for me. Usually if it keeps on buffering it means a broken internet connection. Also check for various software updates, such as Java.

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Cirrus,
ECDL:
European Computer Driving Licence...daft name I know for an IT qualification!! It's basically a course and set of 7 tests to pass that are evidence of computer literacy which is recognised Europe-wide. It's based on Windows and covers a multitude of boring aspects from internet security to Power Point, databases, spreadsheets and wordprocessing. Just about any admin/secretarial positions require you to have ECDL especially within large companies or organisations. I work for an NHS Trust and it's a must if you want to move up the internal hierarchy. Bet you wished you'd never asked now don't you?! Lots of the stuff is very basic but ole timers like me who hadn't used a computer up to about 5 years ago have to have all the trivial stuff explained as we didn't grow up with PCs at school, home etc and as they are so prevalent these days you risk being left behind! I do love my PC though, it has opened up the world such a lot. As a reference and communication tool it's wonderful and it means I can watch the everyday lives my favourite birds of prey at home on their nest any time!!
Do we have to do anything before the changeover to make sure we can still post? or will we able to do all the faffing once it's done?
(told you I was a techno-numpty)
Emma, Heron, Su ................. (ECDL) Oh !!!!! Thank you.
Thank goodness I have my Mous Master Guide - maybe I should use it more :( Well, I do know this and that but don't really think I can call myself computer literate) . Well done you all.
