Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. I hope you all have a great day.
Do check back to last week's chat for OG's gorgeous wildflower garden pics And Lynette's pics of Dunedin & Hampton eaglets.
Linda - I love your pics of Tatton Park, especially autumn.
Alan -24 handbags!!!! Must be related to our Dau#2 who collects shoes & handbags. Me, I have one all-purpose go-everywhere shoulder bag. Plus the gold one OH gave me decades ago and saw the light of day at the weddings.
Brenda, Linda, Lynette, Joan, OG - On my first trip o/s I had a list of what to take. It helps remind me not to forget vital things like eye drops, film (nowadays it is memory cards & battery charger!). When I returned I noted what I didn’t use and now I check the amended list, pruning every trip. Why drag excess around? Invariably my room in B&Bs was on 2nd or3 rd floor. Besides I may buy things, such as jumpers - that’s my weakness. Stupid really because I knit them and the wardrobe is bursting. So, OG, I shall choose one of them. And camera almost lives in said all-purpose bag!
Joan - I heard a story of a local teacher who had 7 children in her class named "Amy" but all spelled differently.
Ha ha Tiger. That could be one step too far!! I should have written down what I did at the time. It seemed to happen differently in Firefox! Next time...

SheilaFE lovely pics but poor Sooty. At least he had a good life with you although I guess was sadly missed.
Margobird
I just looked at who's on line ... and there are 23 registered ... and 538 guests ... amazing!
Sheila - lovely tale of Sooty, and what an age he lived to!
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

Joan where do you find the info re who's on line etc? Does that mean on our daily and weekly pages or includes the main blog?
Oh, yes, I should have said DjoanS jolly well done for sorting out our computer. A huge pat on the back for you from me. I really wouldn't know where to start. OH merely groans and tells me to try, to have a go, if I'm doing something new. I'm just terrified I'll muck it all up in some way!

I think its the whole site ... at the top of the page on the 'Groups' yellow line click on 'Forums' then on the right hand side look under 'Shortcuts' and it is there .... or use this link!!! http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/user/ViewOnline.aspx
Thanks DjoanS fascinating. I guess I'm permanently there!!
OK, another naive question to you experts. On 'my page' I could add photos and add favourites. I'm not too bothered about adding photos, but wondered whether I should add the daily and weekly pages to favourites in case I have difficulty in finding my way in next week. However, it is not immediately obvious to me how I could do this. Any ideas? Or is this not the purpose of Favourites?

Not at all. Of course you can do it :)
Tiger Signature
Well back from shopping mission and haircut in Elgin. Not a good day for either as showers and gales so pleased to be home. Another downpour as I type so I really do feel sorry for Odin and EJ.
Just as I was leaving Tiger Lily came running to back door so a small can of tuna was consumed she is now being watched by one of the numerous dogs as she takes shelter on the steps of next doors play house.Lassie is a sheepdog with no sheep so she tends to stalk either the cat or the calves that regulary escape from the steading.
Good luck to all of you who are in the Olympic lottery...Tiger you have gone for probably the 3 most popular days but you have as much chance as the next person. I did read that some people have bid on all and sundry and if they get them all the will have enormous credit card bills.
