Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. I hope you all have a great day.
Do check back to last week's chat for OG's gorgeous wildflower garden pics And Lynette's pics of Dunedin & Hampton eaglets.
Linda - I love your pics of Tatton Park, especially autumn.
Alan -24 handbags!!!! Must be related to our Dau#2 who collects shoes & handbags. Me, I have one all-purpose go-everywhere shoulder bag. Plus the gold one OH gave me decades ago and saw the light of day at the weddings.
Brenda, Linda, Lynette, Joan, OG - On my first trip o/s I had a list of what to take. It helps remind me not to forget vital things like eye drops, film (nowadays it is memory cards & battery charger!). When I returned I noted what I didn’t use and now I check the amended list, pruning every trip. Why drag excess around? Invariably my room in B&Bs was on 2nd or3 rd floor. Besides I may buy things, such as jumpers - that’s my weakness. Stupid really because I knit them and the wardrobe is bursting. So, OG, I shall choose one of them. And camera almost lives in said all-purpose bag!
Joan - I heard a story of a local teacher who had 7 children in her class named "Amy" but all spelled differently.
Betty boo: Lived south of Cambridge many many years ago but Scotland is so good. OH would love Fort Geroge with its views history and museum. Chris Packam featured the dolphins tonight...brilliant.
SheliaFE...I don't think that classes you has old at all this day and age, we are all as young as we feel.. Your right though in saying re: the Kites spreading themselves further, we see them more frequently than we did say 2 years ago, I managed to see 3 today...
I have looked into this "Favouites" again. It seems to be very hit and miss but this is what I have found.
At the bottom of some pages there in addition to the RSS feed there is a link called <add as a favourite> or something to that effect.
If you click this it shows up on the favourites menu on your main page.
There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what pages have the command. However the "Wildlife on the web" section has such a button.
I think it was this erratic behaviour that has put me off the feature.
Does anyone use the RSS feeds? I cannot say I have done so habitually.

Wendyb...Due to planning next camping trip, missed the Dolphins :-( Fort George does look stunning.
bettyboo:Ah well as long as they don't put wind turbines in the Morayfirth they will still be there.
Wendyb...Most definitely with you on that one.
Bettyboo: Will keep you in mind as I am sure we will need support in the future...so thanks.
Yeay Friday the 13th - is anyone superstitious? Greetings to all. Get well soon to those not well. Have a great & relaxing holiday all who are going away. Thank you those who have commented with good wishes for my trip - just general replies (sorry). I depart on Wed 25 for 3 weeks. Yes I shall take lots of photos. Yes I shall tell you about my trip when I return. BUT I may point you towards my flickr website, otherwise it could be a takeover. LOL. I noted on recent weekend trip I averaged over 200 photos a day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! History Month here (celebrating state’s 175th birthday this year). Tomorrow I am doing a 2-hour bus tour of churches in old suburb of Thebarton.
Friday SmileThis person was diagnosed with AAADD (Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder):- "I decided to wash my car. As I start toward the garage, I notice that there is mail on the hall table. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys down on the table, put the junk mail in the rubbish bin under the table, and notice that the rubbish bin is full. So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the rubbish first. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the letterbox when I take out the rubbish anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I get my chequebook and see that there is only one cheque left. My extra cheques are in my desk in the den, so I go to my desk where I find the bottle of coke that I had been drinking. I'm going to look for my cheques, but first I need to push the coke aside so that I don t accidentally knock it over. I see that the coke is getting warm, and I decide I should put it in the fridge to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye - they need to be watered. I set the coke down on the counter, and I discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, we will be looking for the remote, but no one will remember that it’s on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the car isn’t washed, the bills aren’t paid, there is a warm bottle of coke sitting on the counter, the flowers aren’t watered, there is still only one cheque in my chequebook, I can’t find the remote, I can’t find my glasses, and I don’t remember what I did with the car keys. Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail . . . . . and the ospreys . . . . "
Happy Friday the 13th to all! I find that Friday the 13th is usually lucky for me. I hope that all of you who are travelling will have wonderful and safe trips this weekend!!! I'll be interested to read your commentary and see any photos!

I saw some of the I-10 highway recently when Trucker Steve travelled over it. It didn't seem like a bad road. Hope you have a great trip. Will look forward to photos of Delilah if you choose to post any.
Hello to Brenda, Quietwoman, Jay-Me and everyone I've missed!
Oh woe, wail and general consternation - can't keep up with all the posts!!! Barely have time to read them and admire photos of partridges (not in pear trees) let alone click on links or try Tiger's url exercises! And when I get up tomorrow, there'll be another 5 pages and I'll be even more behind in responding! Please accept blanket acknowledgement and appreciation of everyone's doings. However....
AQ: Shrieked out loud with laughter at your Friday smiles - oh, so very, very familiar! Will copy and forward to everyone I know!
Diane: I-10 is a very good road. Will take lots of pix!
Just back from Rose Society meeting where nice lady gave lovely presentation of her "gardens big and small" vacation in England. Some lovely roses that we can't get here and some we can. Great photography - wall to wall sunshine in all of them!
Off to bed as have lots to do before Sunday departure. Take care all.
