Morning all: Daylight already at LG; EJ on nest;
I have been watching and reading in the background this morning. Thanks.
Odin is gradually getting later with breakfast.
Changeover 12.50 or so. Didn't see any fish though?
Fish delivery a couple of minutes ago. Odin's approach was right in front of the camera :-)
Here he is watching the missus fly off with the fish.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I need to get my eye in! :)
edit - just watched it back and I'm not surprised I missed it.!
Brilliant Heron and Ms Tree. Well captured. Odin is snoozing on and off now, wings slightly spread (to keep cooler?)

And d'you think the fish are getting smaller too Brenda? Maybe it's just the camera angle
Unknown said: Morning all, Just logged on to see our lady doing the EJ shuffle around her eggs. Bless. Another beautiful day. This could carry on until Christmas then get hotter if it wanted!!! Cirrus: Morning. I went to my old stomping ground yesterday, Rivington Moor and Anglesarke Reservoir above Bolton and Chorley.(I mostly tramp around Bowland now, or just about anywhere with birdlife) SOOOO many people there so not much to see on the bird front, just the usual suspects, tits, finches, GSW and yet another unidentified warbler!!!! Dartmoor is beautiful. Many happy holiday memories of that area. I hope you enjoy it. We're off to the Lakes in June, so hope the weather stays like this! Lynette: Hi. I know Worsley. I now live in Chipping in Bowland but am originally from Bolton. So staying in good ole Lancashire, although I have lived in Cambridgeshire and Cleveland too!

Hi Su, posted on the Weekly Chat as I wasn't sure whether you'd seen my post. A bit of digressing but I know Rivington Moor (only climbed to the top of Rivington Pike once in my youth and again onto the moor on New Years Day would you believe with a boyfriend at the time and another couple, quite invigorating.) Know the Trough of Bowland as well as it was a family favourite in years gone by.
Putting that aside, thanks for all your updates and pics. MsTree wonderful capture of Odin arriving with fish.
At present EJ on the nest, panting as it looks hot up there. Still no sound though.

That good snap by MsTree rather showed a tiddler I thought! EJ is fanning herself out to try to keep cool.
And having a wee preen now.
Someone/something is flying around at the moment. EJ is watching it intently, screwing her neck around.
