Evening a;;: Just starting things off, but not sticking around very long as it's been a busy day and I'm fading..... However, it's light already at LG - foggy too by the looks of it. EJ awake and looking about...
EDIT: Well, hit Post and the day cam came on - looks misty.....
Yes, Sheila, Odin has been around twice that I know of, but I don't know about fish.
Thank you for liking my poem
Another check to make sure all is well!
And having checked, she rechecked, then settles again.

Just back from a cycle to a pub for lunch, and see that not much has changed since I last posted! EJ sitting in the sunshine, dozing occasionally and looking north again. No obvious sign of Odin. She checks her eggs, turning them perhaps and settles back down after a quick preen.
Sorry, off topic but when I read "dawn comes up like thunder" I immediately thought Rudyard Kipling's poem (part of his "Barrack room" collection according to Wikipedia). I remember hearing a rather rousing recording when I was growing up in the UK.
MANDALAY
By the old Moulmein Pagoda, lookin' eastward to the sea,There's a Burma girl a-settin', and I know she thinks o' me;For the wind is in the palm-trees, and the temple-bells they say:"Come you back, you British soldier; come you back to Mandalay!"
CHORUSCome you back to Mandalay,Where the old Flotilla lay:Can't you 'ear their paddles chunkin' from Rangoon to Mandalay? On the road to Mandalay,Where the flyin'-fishes play,An' the dawn comes up like thunder outer China 'crost the Bay ( ...and lots more)
And oh, yes, thanks for pix of EJ and Odin. Off I go.
Am I right in thinking there is still no sound at LG? Lovely to see EJ in the afternoon sun. Will catch up with the posts in a minute. Couldn't get on last night, kept coming up with "server error."

Just been reading the posts.
Heron and Annette - wonderful dawn pics of EJ and the light. She certainly looked like she had frost on her back.
Lindybird - lovely poem.
EJ looks contented catching 40 winks.
Lynette: That was Cirrus who brought us such a nice poem today; I think she borrowed Lindybird's poetry hat! :-)
Quick pop back before going to work . Nest still the same. Such a shame about the sound.
Thank you Annette - a brief moment of inspiration :)
It's still EJ on the nest - anyone know about fish?
odin brings in a fish, takes over on the nest
