Things sounding a little breezy at LG, and just a few minutes go, EJ stood up to let me see both eggs for the first time :-)

Odin just flew in for a quick spot of mating.
Hi Annette :-)
A crow has started calling, and EJ has an expression on her face that says: "For goodness sake. Give it a rest!" Hillarious.
Daylight now at LG. The cheerful chirps of Radio Chaffinch in the background.
Heron: You're keeping late/early hours these days.
Annette: This webcam Osprey watching game is highly addictive. I remember last season my sleep pattern became even madder than usual.
Radio Chaffinch is certainly gie'in it laldy. As we say in my part of the world.
Odin flies back in to do more stick moving.
Odin arrives desprate to do a spot of egg sitting. His stick moving antics give EJ the hint and she flies off.
Hmmmm! I just watched a lovely change-over, and still 2 eggs. There's obviously quite a bit more to laying osprey eggs than chook eggs! ;-) There was no mistaiking the contractions EJ was having though. Keep you eyes on the nest today.
Smiles, Jan.

I have been asking myself the same question for years. Why is this Osprey watching so addictive??. I really look forward to their return and am then hooked for the season and beyond. They are such fascinating birds and have all the qualities that are sadly lacking in our society as a whole. A lot can be learned from watching their loyalty and dedication to the family.
