Daily Update (Loch Garten Nest) Wednesday 6th April

Cirrus: I notice from your note on the LOTL thread that you still can't get the LG cam. I haven't read yesterday's Update, so ignore all this if you've heard it before.  Can you click on the following link or copy/paste it into the IE address bar?  That was the only way I could get to the LG cam at the start of the season (haven't tried going via the RSPB site since then).  I also get just the Play/Burn/Sync menu when I launch Windows Media Player.  I've added the link to my Favorites list and just click on it directly.

EJ is on the nest; I think I saw Odin there when I was busy trying to get LOTL, but not sure; anyway, EJ is alone now.

EJ and Odin both unaware that the LG saga, has taken an almost dynastic twist with the arrival of Baldrick, to the south of them. An interesting season so far, who knows what lies in store, over the coming months. Maybe EG is already a granny, but it looks as if Baldrick may add offspring to the family tree.

jsb: I just saw Valmc's posts and photos on News from Other Nests - brilliant.

Odin was just in fussing with the furnishings (twigs last year; haystacks and moss this year....)

Many thanks Tiger for the new Update start off. The nest is indeed coming on -  almost ready for the eggs I would think (much further advanced than Lady’s in that respect).

Thank you Annette  - but I can get the video on IE – it’s the only browser that will let me. However, I have done as you suggest . Have to admit it seems a clearer picture – it’s just so small !  I have my screen image enlarged to 200% and since the cam doesn’t seem to give a particularly sharp image at 100% or 75% or 50% I may as well have a nice large picture.

I’ve just found something out that Lofty was talking about yesterday (I think) but couldn’t find. ‘’File’’ is only available in ‘’Skin ‘’ mode . I didn’t realise that. Now if only I could remember what I was supposed to do  by accessing the file menu. Sigh

Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh  Annette - I've just found out how to enlarge the 'Skin' mode image. I think there may be help for me yet   :)

IE wont' accept all the :  and /  .  etc. and in the address bar it just keeps producing Windows Media all over again.
