Weekly Chat, Sunday April 3 2011

Hi all: very late starting this - was gone most of the day. I saw Odin on the nest - brilliant!  Now off to check on Lady and, hopefully, catch up on chat!

  • Hi Annette Bobbie comes down the stairs front wards but very funny how she does it and as you say a welcome boost after losing casper, we have just got back from the vets she has been given the all clear one very healthy puppy and had her first of two injections which she did not like

  • Lindybird I think we all have that worry about the doggy washing and the neighbours!

Alicat glad that Bobbie has had the all clear.  They don't like injections sometimes but am sure they soon forget. Mia actually loves going to the vet's and drags me inside as she usually gets a fuss made of her.  She's not always so keen when it comes to going in to the consulting room.  It seemed to happen after she had to have her anal glands emptied a couple of times.... I can't think why!!!  Will you have her microchipped. That may make her cry but Mia who's a complete wimp didn't bother at all.

  • Excuse haste and lack of acknowledgements but I'm so excited.

A Crane just flew right over my house !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Suburbia,   Bristol   !!!!  Wow

  • Good morning alll and another glorious day and warming up again nicely.

AQ thanks for posting all your photos from the trip it sounds as though you had a good time.

Heron thanks for the capture from the Decorah site, it never fails to amaze me at how gentle they are with their young.

original goldfinch good news about your son, who knows it could lead to other things.  Hope he doesn't have to wait too long to hear.  Enjoy your trip today.  MY OH is suffering badly with hayfever now, it seems to start earlier each year and go on to the end of September.  The medication he is on does help though.  Cutting the grass is a real trial for him though,

ChloeB nice to read about Sam and that he led a happy contented life with you.  Billy is becoming ever more affectionate, spending a lot of time with him out in the garden and last night when my OH came back after meeting with a former work pal for a pint Billy was waiting at the front door.  We left the door open and he cam in albeit very quickly but seems he has taken the final step now.  OH is going to get him a bed so if he wants he can come in and be a real pet to us at long last.  Have just come in from sitting with him and making a fuss and he is now asleep on our garden table enjoying the sun.

ALICAT can just imagine Bobbie going up and down the stairs.  Good to read in your latest post that she is fit and healthy and had had her injections, sorry she did not like them.  Does this mean you will be able to take her for a walk soon.

Tiger thanks for that very cute cat pic.

Annette  glad you enjoyed your Indian meal and that grandson's bottom is doing fine.

Wendyb pleased your daughter got back safely , it must be strange for you after being with daughters for the past few weeks.  Billy is a little darling, OH even said he is so sweet.

Have a good day all and hope weather good for you.

Billy is getting a good deal of attention from me now and I share him with osprey viewing.
