Yes indeed. It is amazing how the wee ones have come on in the last week or so.

ALICAT wasso pleased to read you had eaten a meal. You have summed it so well in your post you would not have wanted him to suffer and just think when those sad times come he is in a much better place and looking down on you.
Well done with your fishes you must be so pleased.
Margobird
Alan that is an amazing capture from Decorah. It is incredible to see how many people are viewing at any one time.
Sorry to read that Hamish is a bit off colour, hope he gets better soon.
Good morning ALICAT was so pleased you have managed to eat something. You are so right in what you say, the decision was hard but the right thing to do. He is in a much better place now and knows how much you loved him.
Good news about your fishes, you have had a lot of success with them.l

Happy Birthday OG
Back again to post general stuff and after 3 weeks I have at last caught up with everything housework. Been a bit of a struggle of late to fire myself up into some action but now I am feeling better it is not so daunting. Between Friday night and Wednesday night we have a rush of shows to see again. Off to see Lendy Henry tomorrow night. Not sure about this one as sometimes I find him funny and other times he is not to me anyway. Like to go with OH though as he says he enjoys it much better if I go with him. This is followed by a Magic Show on Sunday which is local as is Lenny Henry. On Wednesday we are off to London to see Michael Feinstein an Amercian singer who plays the piano and signs all the old classics from the big band age. I will definitely enjoy this one. The only down part of it is the fact that we won't get home until the early hours of Thursday morning, probably about 2.30. Will have to sleep a bit on the way home as I will be useless the following day.
I am also looking forward to Monday when Rhys will be coming to see me and he is such a lad now, has even started having a temper tantrum here and there. My sister who looks after him every Monday had to stop herself from laughing when he went into the stamping his feet routine to shoe the frustration he felt for not being allowed to do things he shouldn't be doing. All part of the learning curve for him though. Will have to dash round first thing Monday making things Rhys proof. He is the most adorable little boy and I love him to bits for his constant smiles and giggles.
After having Billy around most of the time for a while now he has only just turned up today. No food went overnight and at the moment he is on the carport roof where he spends a lot of time. I guess the weather was not to his liking last night with all the rain and wind. He is an extremely fastidious cat in that he spends an enormous amount of time washing and grooming himself. The fascination for the pond seems to have worn off and his new place for testing us it the bird patio although this is usually done when the birds have gone to roost.
Hope you all have a good day.
ALICAT I think that getting another Westie is a good idea altough as you say after your holiday. Of course you can never replace Casper but you would give such a good and loving home to another dog. Pleased to hear that Tigger is settling down and eating and I know how raw you must feel but good to see you being positive about another Westie. It is not too soon at all so try and convince hubby this is what you would like.
Hi folks, what a lot of news. I can't possible remember everybody but thanks anyway for the updates.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OG
Do you recognise it?
EJ, Lady, and the pair at Manton are all on their nests. It certainly looks like the Manton pair are hanging on for dear life in the wind.

Just read on the Barn Owl Diary page that it is a fallen cable obscuring the view. Someone from the Conservation Team is going to the site later today. http://www.barnowltrust.org.uk/infopage.html?Id=270
margobird - you certainly have a busy few days of shows ahead of you. A visit from Rhys too ... how lovely! Billy certainly wouldn't like it here today ... there is a howling gale at the moment, and forecast to get worse during the afternoon.
