  • Good morning Sheila FE site seems OK for me but I know what you mean it can be so slow at times with the time out coming up and then you find it posted the comment anyway.  So good you could take voluntary retirement and enjoy life.  I worked until I was 63 but wish I had retired at 60 when I could have done.  Had a few personal problems at the time and work seemed to be the thing to do.  I have never missed going to work and so enjoy being able to indulge myself with bird watching in the garden and of course ospreys which I discovered at that time andf gtenerally not having to rush around getting things done.  Enjoy the talk this afternoon.

  • Good morning DjoanS and I agree it does look like a cable that is hanging down in the owl box but as you say doubt they will do anything about it now it looks as though there might be owlets eventually.  Love watching the two of them together quietly rasping to each other.

  • Good morning dibnlib shame about the change in the weather for you.  I trust Dillon enjoys his walks whatever the weather is doing.  Glad you enjoyed South Pacificm, we have seen several local companies and their shows are often very good.  We believe in supporting any theatre company to help keep them going as times are so tough at the moment for them.

Hope dentist trip goes OK and bill not too horrendous.

  • Good morning Lindybird we had heavy rain and strong winds overnight but not as windy as it has been in parts of Scotland.   Quite warm here too and it seems ages since I had to put socks on to keep my feet warm.

    Lovely card for original goldfinch

When are hoping to see Thomaz again I imagine he will have grown quite a bit while you were away.

  • Annette  hope your grandson's wound will start to improve, doesn't sound very nice at all.  You are not naughty at all nice to treat yorself to something and hopefully you will have the right weather to sit underneath it.  See your temperature is quite high at the moment so you might have tried it out already although with the busy life you are leading at the monent that may not have been possible.

Hope they managed to find out what Delilah's intolerance is due to.  So difficult for her as she is a first time Mum and obviously wanted to give baby what is usually best for them.

  • Lynette sorry I gave you the heart check so pleased that OH is OK.  Has he had any more pain.

Lovely captures from Lily and family.  I watched Hope playing with one of the cubs yesterday and I think it was Jason but he was so exhausted he curled up and went to sleep.  Hope then played with Faith for a while.  Seems to be such a close bond between all of them now.
