Morning all; dinner time here - well getting close - off to check the options; back to catch up later.
Thanks for the good wishes for Mr Lindybird - he is off doing his Kitchen fitting this morning, but I hope to be able to cook him a nice bit of steak tonight & of course we will raise a glass of something.
OG: dont know how I forgot, as I meant to put how much I enjoyed your lovely bird pics once again.
I'm off out now to visit Friend, but will come dashing back this afternoon to see what news of LG & LotL. It's so exciting!!
Happy birthday to Mr Lindybird have a great day.
Margobird
Godo mroning Lindybird dull and grey here too, after constant sun for nearly 2 weeks. Weather going downhill from tomorrow with plenty of rain forecast. Hope your OH likes Buzz's present and that is a really nice idea for a birthday present from you. I can hardly believe that Lady has travlled all this way back again. She is one amazing bird.
Great photos again original goldfinch you are such a good photographer.
Gary thanks you for the lovely photos of a very beautiful Toffee and Caddi on their playdate.
Good morning all from a very gloomy Poole after all the sunshine we have enjoyed receintly, seems quite cool as well. Got up very early today to try and get back into my normal routine after a couple of weeks of feeling rather poorly. Got some houseowork done, have been into Town for a few bits and now have the rest of the day to myself. Thanks to all for the chat and how busy it is now, very hard to post individual replies but do so where I can.
Billy has made ny neighbours carport roof the place he sits and sleeps during the day so I can see him most of the time now. Bet he is missing all the sun too. We are wondering if he is older than we think as he does spend a lot of time sleeping but having had cats when we were children I guess this is what they do best. He is eating and drinking well so I am sure he is OK. When OH went out to work he was in the drive and didn't run away as he backed out, OH had to get out and shoo him out of the way.
Lindybird pleased to see that Stella rallied a bit and demanding tea and swearing about the sheets, shows there is still some fight left in her. Good news about your freind recovering from her op and I am sure she will be pleased to see you and have a chat. Probably missed you while you were away.
Hi to Annette and Diane and can see Diane snow again. Annete has the rain left you now?
Have a good day all and hopefully LOt:L cam will be back on soon.
OG your pics are as wonderful as ever. We got ourselves a good camera last year but often find ourselves with things to photo and no camera . This year we must get into the habit of taking it everywhere with us (Tesco excepted!!!!)
LINDY Hope Buzz is better today, or are you having to starve him? I hate doing it but know it is for the best.
things starting to look springlike here now that the blossom trees are starting to come out. We have one in the front garden which was a birthday pressie a few years ago. I arrived home from work to find a birthday balloon tied to said tree and thought how nice. Took me a few seconds to realise the tree and not the balloon were the pressie. It hadn't been there when I left for work in the morning.
Had a long chat with my friend who has Huskies this morning. It is the last race of the season this weekend and she is so glad. Think she is tired out as she has been working full time and until end of Jan had to do all the training with the dogs herself as her OH had an op on his hand and was very restricted. Also her OH is chairman of the Scottish Sled Dog Association which has meant a lot of extra work for them both when they go to the races. She is looking forward to having more time for herself and hopefully we will be able to get together a bit more often now.
Morning all,
Thanks for all the chat etc. Not been able to keep up lately as there is so much going on in ospreyland.
Here is a pic I took this morning of flowering cherry in front garden:
God afternoon dibnlib and that was a nice birthday present, something for ever. Very springlike here in Dorset at the moment, lots of blossom which will probably get blown off the trees if we have the rain and wind that is forecast. Your friend will indeed welcome her break, must take up a lot of her and OH's time and you will get to see more of each other for a few months.
