Morning All!
Alan - I can't download clips via RealPlayer either. Haven't been able to since I changed to Win7. I use Jaksta instead.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Patriciat and Tweed well done! The Rainbow Bridge page is wonderful.

I have written elsewhere, but cannot remember where, that yesterday OH downloaded the latest version of Firefox, am on Vista (I'm a total non-techie so my expressions may be totally wrong) and I found that the webcam just didn't appear on the page in this updated version. All the writing was there, but a blank where the screen should have been. He checked out various things like plugins, but nothing worked. He then suggested I tried opening it in Chrome, and hay presto, it works. So I have the webcam open in Chrome - although our broadband is horribly slow and it keeps dropping out, and the blogs in Firefox. But you may well have been discussing recording the video, about which I know nothing!

ALICAT I am devastated to read about Casper. You did not kill him, you surrounded him with so much love and knew it was the right thing to do. He passed away peacefully and is no longer in pain. Hope you have managed to find The Rainbrow Bridge, says so much and I hope you will gain some comfort from it. I will have enduring memories of him in his Hoodie, once of the cutest pics ever. Lots of hugs to you and your OH and just remember all the happy times of which I am sure there are many. It is easy to say but time will heal and remember you gave him such a good life.

Good morning all and thanks for all the chat from the end of last week. So many postings so can't reply to everyone. Dull and cloudy here and cooler and we even had a shower of rain last night. In actual fact the garden does need it, already had to water some plants.
Going out to see Chas and Dave again tonight, so I am hoping I don't have any coughing fits, it really is taking an age for this cough to go
Trying Billy out on some new food so hope he will like it. He has been having dried food but OH got him some Whiskas pouches with fish, so we will have to wait and see. I know cats can be notoriously fussy.
orginal goldfinch so pleased you enjoyed your day and good news about son volunteering in the museum and also playing badminton with no ill effects.
patricat so pleased you enjoyed your meal out, a real treat for you and well done to Tweed.
Lynette thanks for the capture.
Paul lovely capture from Hampton and also EJ from last night.
Loved the humerous banter that went on.
Sorry couldn't mention everyone and Annete and Diane hope the weather is not throwing too much rain/snow at you.
Morning all ... sunny, but cold here. I thought I had been really good this time and did all the clocks yesterday ... even the car! Then I wondered why the bathroom was so cold this morning .... I forgot the central heating clock :-((( OH is away, so I won't tell him!!
Sorry for all those folks who can't get Realplayer to work .... mine is working ok, same as last year ... but I rarely use it!
OG - great to hear that your son has found such convenient voluntary work ... and that he is feeling chirpier.
Patriciat - congratulations to you and Tweed! Glad you enjoyed your birthday meal.
AQ - sounds like the painting is progressing well ... and you survived the teen-sitting! Lovely cat pics ...fabulous one of Nutmeg ... such beautiful eyes.
margobird - I hope Billy like his new food ... he is going to be really spoiled!!! Enjoy your concert and hopefully no coughing fits :-)
Thanks to everyone for pics etc
Take care

Alicat, so sorry to come on here and read messages to you about Casper. As Margo says, you loved him deeply and we all know the time has to come eventually. You know there are lots of us here you can talk to about him. It's hard not to remember lost pets without thinking about their end but you have many pictures to remind you of the good times. Hugsxxx

Good mornng DjoanS sorry about your cold bathroom, OH is working so only a couple of clocks showing the right time for me, just have to remember to look at my watch for the right time. Just went out to see whether Billy had been tempted by the new food and he certainly has it is nearly all gone so that's a success.
AQ meant to say lovely pics of cats.
First of All, <BIG HUGS> to dear Alicat, so sorry to hear of the loss of Casper, you gave him a life full of love as others have said, so you can always remember that. We with pets will all be thinking about you today.
Rather dull here, but dry at least, so can do some tidying in the garden which is usually too wet at this time of year to brush up leaves etc. OH has taken Buzz to the Park, where he can dash into the lake and get really wet, to get rid of that awful 'kennels' smell that they come home with. (it breaks our hearts to put him in there, but he is such a handful we can't let anyone else have him for the holidays. We are presently discussing curtailing some of our trips abroad so that he can spend his Old Age with us in the UK on hols together)
AQ Glad to hear that the exciting bit of the decorating is going ahead. My OH always criticises my painting skills, too. He slaps it on: I am meticulous and therefore slower. Somehow it gets done in the end. Lovely pics of your grand cats.
margo - sorry you still have a cough - did you get the one I had? I remember your sister had it.
Must go & prepare veg - Eldest coming for lunch and we got an extra hour in bed by not changing our clocks until today, as we were so tired after all the running around this week.
Have a Nice Sunday, All.
