Evening all - well it's 5:30 p.m. here. I have to go out for a few hours tonight so am kicking things off now.
Cirrus: Your last entry on the previous update asked about supper for the birds. Someone else on Facebook asked but there's no record of one.
Back in a bit.
Thanks Lindybird. Two on the nest plus 'ghosty' image to right below nest rim, as seen by Tish, Flying C, and Karen. Of course I know it 's not really there. Oh yes, looks like Garten has started with the supper fish and I WISH Mallachie would rush a sortie against her and take the fish as a prize.
Oh well. Garten resorts to her favourite tree (no doubt ) for supper.
Oooo er I think that was Odin delivering a fish to Mallachie !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who has flown off with it. To her favourite tree I trust. Actually, I'm rather glad she is not eating it in the nest. Maybe she's sussed she's safer with it in a tree. (know what I meant ?)
I came here to find out which parent delivered which fish to which sister but I guess you're not sure either!
Garten got the first one, a large one so I assumed it was EJ who delivered it.
Mallachie got the second one which I assume was delivered by Odin.
BUT I could be wrong!! Not impressed that the camera person left it zoomed out so far tonight. No cake for him / her!
Both girls took it off the nest to eat. I didn't think Garten would manage to lift hers never mind fyly off with it but she did!!!
Make the most of today because, unlike Sky+, there isn't a rewind button.
HI Paula
I reallly do think it was Odin. A lot of white gleaming in the dusk and he didn't stay around long. Just the time it took Mallachie to talon it from off his talon. About an Odin sized fish too.
Thanks everyone. Was out for a bit so missed all the action (again!)
So EJ brought Garten's fish and then Odin brought Mallachie's fish?
It all happened so far away that I couldn't tell who was who.
After a lot of begging posts to me on various sites, I have put together what I hope is a fitting tribute to events at LG in 2009. Although there is still plenty of action up in Abernethy, school holidays are over and work commitments beckon hard! Thanks to EVERYONE for making all this possible!

I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed making it - just be aware it's nearly 10 minutes long (currently the YouTube limit for video clips), so depending what you're broadband speed is, it may take a while to download properly!
At this risk of being redundant (see my FB message) - just wonderful!
BigRab - fantastic! It's hard to believe that those fluff balls have grown the way they have and one of them has found her way to mid France! Brilliant film - thank you.
