Connection okay now.

6:20 a.m. in UK. Nest has been empty since I logged on.

Good morning Annette . Not stopping however, just wanted a quick look in to get my 'fix' but as you say, empty nest. I'm out kayaking most of the day today so no pics from me. Sorry. Do hope there is some enterprising soul who will upload whatever the day presents though and thank you very much indeed to that person.

We can't possible have much longer so any glimpses of the wonderful Ospreys are to be treasured and mentally stored up until next March (and beyond for the girls - hope they are 'second yearers' back here at LG somewhere)

I wish you all a very good day whatever you are doing. And for those of you online at 'The Nest'  may it prove memorable in a very good way.

HEY!  I've just taken a look at GE and mine shows Rothes having moved on a little to the coast like Richard said in his last Blog. I'm not imagining that we were left with our girl 'inland' somewhere before this coastal fix am I ?

6:33 Flying visit from one bird who landed then left soon after. May have been Garten.

Hey Cirrus, my GE shows her at that point in France too. Still haven't done the Tour - later maybe. Have a lovely day. I'm off to bed soon. Aquilareen in Adelaide is on the Diary page so hope she has company soon!

Just had another flying visit from a UFO (Unidentified Flying Osprey). I'm signing off and heading for the sack. Check the Diary page for more info since Aquilareen and Watcher2 are on there...  Nobody on FC at this point. Night!

Arrival of one osprey followed quickly by a second bringing breakfast. Both birds mantling. Can't see who they are - if I enlarge picture on this laptop it blurs.  ( Garten & EJ possibly)

Camera man has zoomed in - can see the feet of one osprey.

Now both have left taking the fish.

Camera moves to osprey on branch.

I think it is Garten on the branch (can't see aerial)
I can see the fishes tail flapping as Garten tries to balance on the branch, eat her fish & flap wings at some pesky osprey who is after her fish :)

Hi everyone! One of the girls is eating a big fish standing on a branch: Garten? I see no aerial. I am wondering whether EJ is in LG or already gone. My GE has updated Rothes position but I think she could already be in Spain. She is travelling as fast as a plane!

I think you are right Jay-Me, Garten on a branch with fish at 09.10. I'm not sure how to upload pict. here, but I'll try ;)
