Hey folks. Barbara Jean, you there?
OK, well, nest is just visible and nobody home right now.
5:54 a.m. UK time. Five minutes of high anticipation just passed as Mallachie and Garten arrived, all excited (me too after no activity at all!) only to hang about for five minutes with them looking about and up and twisting their necks to see something - then leave!
Has everyone's Google updated to show Rothes in France? Mine hasn't.
Good afternoon (2.45 pm Adelaide). Just caught a glimpse of 2 birds on the nest before one flew away. Mallachie remains.
6:18 a.m. SAME POST ON DIARY AND FB: Well, me, myself, and I are going to fall into bed pretty soon....AND OF COURSE - HERE COME THREE BIRDS. All a big kerfuffle - didn't get a chance to see who brought it - he/she arrived with the others and took off immediately - hardly had a chance to let go before SOMEONE grabbed it. And guess who snagged the fish and is busy scrafing it up. Ms. Piggy Garten herself, while Mallachie ... Oh please, don't tell me Garten is going to take off with the fish - she's hopping around and there she goes. PIGGY! COME BACK WITH THAT FISH! And she's just flown by the camera as if to thumb her nose (beak!) at me. What a nerve. And there sits Mallachie, picking sadly around where the fish touched briefly!
Mallachie has flown off. To try fishing herself maybe? As if.
Oh Hurray! Aquilareen. So glad you're here. I was beginning to think I had a personal freshness problem! :-)
Yes indeed, Piggy Garten (sorry Maureen, but REALLY - would you have a word with that young lady) took off with the fish.
Actually, I'm beginning to worry about Mallachie....
Does have Mallachie have what it takes (she certainly doesn't have what Garten takes, which is usually the fish)?
Annette..good morning.
Richard told us last night that the gremlins are back. No update on Google yet.....to be sorted today.
Isn't Rothes unbelievable......she is one lady in a hurry. Think of the energy she is using up !!! But she couldn't have a better start in her life. God Bless
"Birds of a Feather".... ~( :o )
Thanks to you Annette, I now know what I missed just as I was getting all my split screens sorted. So it was Garten who was disappearing.
Hey AQ: Garten left with the fish almost as soon as she snagged it, leaving Mallachie, who took off a coupla minutes ago.
MAUREEN: Hey there. Yes, I'd read that GE had gremlins, but thought I'd read (maybe dreamed it?) that someone's GE was showing the France bit, but there's a good chance I had it all wrong. Truly, Rothes is amazing. I wish Mallachie would demonstrate the same determination; worry that she doesn't stand up to Ms. Garten.
Oh and here's Mallachie back again and who's that with the fish? And who's that on the nest - surely not Garten again?? Did you guys get that?
That was the second fish this morning.
