I'm clapping!! Welcome, June. You are late in the season for all of us who have been watching this exciting family saga this summer, but just in time to follow their migrations south. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Warm welcome June, you have joined us just in time for the roller coaster ride of our wonderful osprey family on migration. Rothes is already in France, 2 of her sisters Garten and Mallachie, Odin and EJ are still with us but i suspect not for much longer.

Just discovered this page with all the wonderful welcomes on it, so I must say a hearty Thanks to all of you!
Actually, I have been on this rolly coaster since about a year ago, and even posted a few comments earlier this summer (before all the technical changes and confusion). I found the site just after Deshar and Nethy had started their migrations, then waited for what- three weeks? while they bided their time in southern England. In the meantime I read the entire history in blogs and was quickly hooked.
For some dumb reason I thought I wouldn't have access to the camera, but this spring I thouht I might at least Try and start searching. Lo & behold! one or two clicks and there was the nest!!! So I've followed the family closely for about a year (even during he winter), have enjoyed the poetry, the videos and am very pleased with the lovely family we are now saying goodby to. I am especially sad about my favorite Garten for I feel I am saying goodbye to her forever.
So again thanks for the welcome.
Congrats June in becoming the 200th. member. It's difficult to find time in a busy lifestyle to keep up with all the shenanigans of our ospreys, so any free time I get I try and read all the posts. Sometimes it's an impossible task but you will find daily updates that help to inform. So, sit back and enjoy the roller coaster ride.
