Keith Re Skyhawk (now named Ozwold) - there is a blog written by Gill Lewis the author of the book. However as it's a sponsorship, I expect Roy will also report on the tracking on his own site, along with the Caithness juvenile.
I will switch over to the new Topic for satellite tracking shortly, though there are still quite a lot of details/links to add.
I can't figure it out on the finish forum, but it seems there are only 2 chicks left on Hailuoto nest? Anyone knows if one of the chicks made an early departure or if something happened to it? :-(
Cats and women will do as they please. Dogs and men should relax and get used to it.
There were 3 chicks up to the 11th but after that only 2. I can just about make out that there was a food shortage just before the 3rd chick seemed to disappear but I dont think that they know either. Early migration is mentioned like Rothes did but they think it is too young.
thanks Alan for confirming what I thought I could "decrypt" from what google translator does to those finnish texts....
so unfortunately not so good news from Hailuoto :-(
I was at Bassenthwaite yesterday and watched a hungry juvenile dive at least 10 times into the lake and come up with nothing. We were urging him to go and dry out and recuperate as he spent longer each time getting out of the water, and eventually he gave up and retreated. All four birds still about.
Last week I was in Wigtown, Galloway, and heard about the missing fledgling which they are not hopeful about finding now. The other one returned to the nest while we were watching the cam and we also saw two youngsters at Threave Castle. Osprey-tastic!

Thanks Terry, I had been wondering if there was anymore news on Wigtown ospreys.
I don't exactly know where to post it, but the Dyfi Facebook site had a link posted to some excellent (non Dyfi) osprey videos. Would like to share those with you:

Nora at Dyfi has not been seen since yesterday morning, they think she may have started her migration.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
Less and less sightings of the ospreys at Wigtown and JC presumed dead:

Kielder ospreys just tweeted:
"The second nest has two chicks. The elder of the two flew for the first time today. Younger is showing signs of alms being ready for flight."
