Slow Down - I am trying to keep track and record all this.
Lady & the Laird at Lowes are restoring the nest and have been mating today.
Please please no eggs.
Not sure but this must be unusual behaviour, can anyone shed any light on this?

Did not Odin try a bit of mating with EJ right at the end of last year? Also a bit of nest building.
Tiger Signature
You are so knowledgeable Tiger and yes I remember it now. Odin brought that clump of grass in as a present just before he left and it had to be removed this year as it had taken root in the nestcup. EJ clearly did not like it. LG kindly removed it :) Wonderful to see someone up the ladder removing it. One of the highlights of this very unusual year.
Thank you
Sounds to me as though they are reinforcing the pair bond ready for next year

That is indeed sad news Barbara. I think springtime conditions are crucial for success on the nest and to my mind most certainly play their part in the failed egg at LG and three failed eggs at LOTL. It was an unusual spring here too.
