That is such disappointing news Alan. I was hoping so much that it would hatch. Come on No 2.
Brenda : It is disappointing but the first egg was not very well incubated and the female is inexperienced. I am still hopeful for the other 2 to hatch.

Video of the eggs at the Dyfi nest taken at 15:05. Still no cracks:
Thanks Alan. This was the first page I looked at when I got home. Here's hoping for tonight maybe.
Spent some time at Glaslyn today. I discovered that they are seeling a new booklet called "The Story of the Glaslyn Ospreys". Rather useful.

Hi, does anybody know what is happening at the Aberfoyle nest. Have the birds abandoned it completely. Everytime I look it is the distance shot on. Are the eggs still there or have they been taken by other wildlife?
New tweet from Dyfi:
Start the car!! This is it folks!!! Get here if you can, if not we'll keep you posted.....
Lmac: The female stopped incubating at Aberfoyle just as they were about to hatch. They are not sure of the reason as there does not seem to have been any disturbance.
Meanwhile at Dyfi. Is this a hole in one of the eggs?
