Tiger have been looking in now and again and it is not very welcoming with all that snow around. If I remember correctly there were no chicks from this nest last year because of trouble with another osprey.

I first discovered this cam in 2006. It was incredible. Biggest strongest best fed chicks I have ever seen. There was usually a big piece of salmon by the side of the nest.
Then 2007 everything went pear shaped and it has never been the same since.

Can honestly say that today has been one of the most amazing days I have ever spent watching ospreys & I have had many!!
Started at first light with a look out of the bedroom window to see one osprey at nest & another on a branch above! Good start me thinks! Jumped in shower-looked again & one is bringing in a stick to the nest!
The stick deliveries have continued all day with M bringing various sizes from tiny twigs to branches bigger than himself. XL has encouraged him to go for more with delicate calls similar to the "FEED ME NOW" call but less urgent. M has truly set my mind at rest today & I am more certain that they have accepted my rebuilt nest! He has also brought in 2 excellent trout.
The best part of today was 3 matings on branch above nest. The update is at bottom of page on link....
