She's doing a bit of preening now. It's amazing how brighter her eyes shine through on the infra red cam. Osprey eyesight is just phenominal. Makes our's seem like we got the spectacles prescription mixed up with an order for a blindfold. ;-)
Of course on a tangent I'd probably have to force myself to train in the ways of the contact lense. I'm clumsy enough without having to worry about a pair of glasses.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Serious wind gusts at LotL just now. Thank the iridescant Starlings that the Lady of the Loch's nest is reasonably sheltered.
Marge fires a laser across the nest (away from the camera), she'd never obscure our view. Either that or her positioning is based entierly on wind direction LOL . Then she has a preen, and now she's probably thinking about how exactly to structure the Laird's refresher course ;-)
Weather for LotL for next few days. Those wind gust speeds aren't too friendly :-(

Evening/morning Heron: Love the running commentary! Especially the MS Paint graphic; maybe you could add beak and two legs next time please? :-)) Your description of Lady shooting a laser (is that what we're calling it this year?) across the nest combined with the blustery weather forecast reminded me of the line from that Jim Croce song (yes, yes, I know you were born waaaaay after him): "......you don't tug on Superman's cape; you don't spit into the wind....."
Lady M hunkered down at 12 o'clock (on the nest that is).
Hi Annette: Doing the running commentary is an absolute pleasure :-) I'll try to add more detail in the next MS Paint graphic. Thanks for the Jim Croce song Lyrics. I must admit I handn't heard of him until you mentioned. It's always nice to have something fresh to put in the Google search bar. What's the song with those lyrics
Going by calculations on Marge's likely age, she was born in 1985, when Iron Maiden realeased the Live After Death album. What a Super Osprey! :-)
Marge still hunkerd down at 12 O'clock , facing in a clockwise direction.
Heron: The running commentaries really pick up when the chicks arrive and there's a lot more to-ing and fro-ing. Jim Croce song is "Don't Mess Around With Jim." Iron Maiden eh, I think I was past the point of pop music when they came on the scene!
LOTL cam has just gone off; probably something at my end....hope so! G'night all.
G'night Annette.Lady Marge still at 12 O'clock, facing clockwise but now looking over her shoulder in a counter clockwise direction. Still very windy.
