Second osprey has flown off.
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

Well, at last I got to see Lady And Laird together !!!!! Wonderful !! ( I think)
I missed that Joan but don't think she would be mantling if it was the Laird. Just saw her yawn.
Margobird
Just looked in again - can't get the cam up but lovely to hear that it looks like The Laird has returned as well.
We only want Odin to return and all three, Manton, LOtL, and LG will have their parings ready for what!!!!!!!!!!!

Lady was just on her favourite perch overlooking the Loch but has flown off now, perhaps to fish.
Lady back and calling perhaps the Laird is in the neighbourhood.
Lady was mantling about 10 minutes ago when another osprey landed on the nest. She is still making a bit of noise so intruder may still be around.
Want to keep watching but dinner calls, back later.

Sorry, Lynette, but yes, it was a breach of copyright - making a copy with your camera equates to the printed newspaper copy which jsb mentioned this morning. And if you risk getting RSPB into trouble because it is copied onto their site, then we shall all be the losers!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good article about Lady. I see they quote 200 breeding pairs, which may be low for the UK, compared to what we have been hearing. Also I see the photo of has the small 'c' for SWT copyright.

Thanks for that jsb, that is what my pic is. My camera and their screen at the centre. I have no more of those, anyway. I wonder whether they may stop us taking those photos too... maybe to sell postcards..!
