Just looking on the nest a moment ago, there was an osprey, not sure who but it had a green ring on its leg, now flown off.

Probably Laird - he is green 7Y - hanging around a bit longer to make sure the female intruder from the last couple of days has given up. Lady is unringed.
So it looks like Lady has gone? I haven't been keeping up with things at LotL lately, having been occupied mostly with Loch Garten after a recent stint of volunteering on the osprey project.
I echo all the previous good wishes - safe journey Lady, I await your return with bated breath. And Laird, if he's already gone - hope you make it back too, you've done our Lady proud over the last two years :-)

What a great initiative Alan, they certainly seem to be drawing people in there, especially considering the quality of photos on the website. The LotL site is quite boring to read by comparison.
Had a look at that link, Alan. very interesting. Must get up there sometime. Have you done the evening cruise at all and is it worth it??
Nice to see you back with us RtB and also on the LG thread as well.

Nice to have you back with us RtB both here and on the LG link.
Thank you Rachel, wasn't sure who it was.
Everyone could learn a lot from Dyfi. They have been a revelation this year in the way they have captured the admiration of osprey lovers everywhere.

Sue C's ID sheet is now available as a HTML sheet. You will see green 7Y here
There is a link to the data sheet from Chloe's data site home page.
Lynette : I have not been on the evening cruise as I prefer to go to Rutland Water in the morning. Although everyone says the cruise is good, it is hit and miss whether you see the ospreys fishing. On the other hand if you go to Manton Bay you are almost certain to see ospreys and just as likely to see them fishing from the comfort of the hide.
