Hi folks. Still dark at LG.
Oh dear, poor thing is now getting soaked. Presume she has still got fish in her talons. can't be comfortable.
if you haven't noticed there is a new exciting blog'
Thanks, Brenda H. Rushed off to read it- WOW!
After reading about EJ last night and the "Is this her saying goodbye" messages I was in tears.
Now we have Rothes on her happy way. What a rollercoaster ride this will be.
God speed, Rothes. We will all follow you faithfully.
Mallachie, unaware of our excitement, is eating a good size fish quietly to herself. Sorry didn't see fish arrive. So easy to identify 'chicks' now. One with backpack and one without !
Garten, now fully awake, sitting in tree eating her fish. Wish I knew who delivered both fish.
Have just caught up with the news and what a long way Rothes has gone bless her. As you say Brenda it will be easier now to identify who is who now but I suspect they will all be gone in the not too distant future. I am away on holiday on Saturday for 2 weeks so will be keen to catch up on Mallachie's and Rothes journey. My thoughts and prayers will be with them all for safe journeys and long may EJ and Odin continue together.
Margobird
Margobird, I remember last year, I had to go on line in the hotel, just to find out about N&D. Don't know what happens to us, but these birds certainly take a hold on us.
I will probably have a peek in the hotel luckily they have internet access. Yes you are right these magnificent birds certainly do take hold of us. I think I have said elsewhere they have become family and I am so sorry they have to leave us.
Odin and Mallachie defending the nest now.
