patriciat - Its very therapeutic, I find, to offload on here. As you say, its a safe place to do so. I have had great support from folk on here when the going has been tough. I think I remember reading that a physio was going to see OH and you?

Patricat - it does us all good to have moan now and then and get it off our chests.  Do hope OH didn't break anything and that he is alright.

George - so glad it has been lovely up there and you have been able to go out with Diesel exploring the different parks. He's obviously happy and so are you by the sounds of it.

 

Terry M - glad you had an interesting study day on Sibelius - I really like Tchaikovskys 1st Piano Concerto, along with Griegs's as well and also the music of Vaughn Williams.

OG - it looks like you had an interesting day at the Envioronment exhibition and also the local History Society meeting.  

Owl in the Barn Owl Trust's box , along with Mrs. Norfolk and Dunedin osprey, sitting on her eggs. No ospreys at Panama and Hilton Head at present.

Almost the start of another week, lets hope it brings some warmer weather down here. Not long now!!!!

Hi everyone.

After a dreich start it turned out to be quite a good day here.  Or to put it another way: The cloud looked good in the early rounds but the sun managed to find his way back into the fight, and ended up winning with a 10th round stoppage.  Unsurprisingly for this part of the world, cloud's manager, drizzle, has demanded a rematch.

Diane:  Thanks for the pics of the butterfly, and the Californian Condor.  Fantastic images :-)

Alan: I say keep up the trolley hopping.  Anything that livens up a dull shopping trip should be encouraged.  The pic of Aria with the 3 eggs is absolutely stunning :-) 

OG: Hope your sore chilblains vanish soon.  I've signed the petition.

Margo:  Sorry to hear your nephew's wife required further surgery.  Glad to hear they should be able to have more children if they wish.  Pass my regards to Billy Whizz.

Lynette:  Thanks for the brilliant screen captures.

Annette: I hope your were able to find comfortable walking shoes.

Wendyb: Good to hear you've been having nice weather.  Glad that spring has sprung.

Brenda:  I suspect we'll be able to hang out washings here in about a week or two.  Although somtimes its seen by the gods as a form of raindance.

OG, thanks for the thoughts about the OH. She had 4 days of the computer systems she's responsible for crashing and generally misbehaving. Affecting over 120,000 people!! They seemed to fix one thing only for another to crop up. Still, been quiet for a day now. (famous last words)

George, so glad you and Diesel are a pair now:)

 

Annette – pleased you managed to communicate earlier today.  Sorry no shoes.  Enjoy garden centres tomorrow.

WendyB – of course – there is still the “Lambing Storm” to come in a couple of weeks!  Son has the cold on his chest again, but today he enjoyed a walk to the Doctor’s in the sunshine, to make an appointment.  Pleased the stress is off your OH, at least for the foreseeable future.  Hope he is able to enjoy time out for your walk tomorrow.

Tiger – that is early for Maryland!  Hope they don’t get snow!

Patricia – sorry about Fly’s behaviour today – but more sorry about your OH’s fall and the pressure it places on you.  I hope he – and you – did not sustain any lasting damage.  Most of us have a good moan on here from time to time, much better than bottling it up alone, and good that we feel safe with one another.  Did you get any help from the Occupational Therapist in the week?

Lynette – that owl never looks very happy, I hope it is okay.  Those Norfolk Eagles are such smart-looking birds, never a feather out of place!

Heron – pleased you had some sunshine, even if it “won the battle but lost the war”.

Diane – I hope your work in the house is now going well for you.

Gary – she is just lovely!  Funny how they can sleep with their heads hanging out like that and not get a “crick” in the neck as we would.  I hope your OH’s systems stay stable now.

 

Must to bed – intending to actually get to church in the morning – new Minister is being “preached in” by his own Father – a “Rev. Dr.”  It’s also the All-Age service, so sounds a bit of a jumble to me, but will find out.  Afterwards, going to a Green Market in a local village – recycling, local produce and crafts.
