  • Hi Trish, Good to hear that your OH's training is improving so much.  I presume Mia is also doing well.
    : -)

  • Hi Brenda H  she is doing quite well though she was a little naughty last night which was how I know that OH's training has worked!  Only one other dog came last night and he was a bit daft too.  I reckon it was because the sun had shone and they saw that blue sky I mentioned.  I think she was in shock!  We missed agility the night before too so she had missed her night of fun (training is at the same place as agility).

  • Welcome toots and nice to have another member in our group.  As has been said we are now waiting with bated breath for the return of EJ and Odin who hopeully will raise another healthy family.  Not long to go now as you can see from the countdown clock.

Good grief: Even more positive news about Finland: In a report about a study of sperm counts and chemicals present in the environment, the BBC reports a connection and notes: "Finnish men were studied as they have previously been shown to have some of the highest sperm counts in the world."  What next!?

Hi Annette  perhaps all that cold weather has something to do with it.

  • Good morning WendyB my sowing skills are the same, OH sows all his buttons on as he knows if I do it they will soon be off again.  Good job we don't have to darn socks anymore.  Have my first pile on things on the bed in the spare room and when OH gets case out of loft later I will make a start.  It is going to be fairly cool in Italy where we are going so warm jumpers and cardigans will be packed.  You will notice a difference when you are down this way.  Spring is well on tracks, and can see lots of buds coming on the trees now.  Yes I guessed you will be helping out in the garden.

  • BrendaH  I am sure most people with a serioud illness are grateful to talk about other things.  Good for him booking a cruise and I hope they both enjoy it.

Very sad about the sperm whale makes you wonder why this happens.

I am not the only one whose sanity might be a bit suspect.  OH is always talking to Billy and last thing at night we open the front door and say goodnight to him.  With all the sun we have had over the past couple of days he has been here most of the day.  When OH went out to the garage last night he appeared from the back garden so I don't think he is ever that far away.  Having said that I haven't seen him yet today but no doubt he will put in an appearance soon.
