  • Great captures from osprey cams and especially Decorah cam Alan.  Don't know why but I had to sign in again to post a reply, a gremlin in here somewhere.

  • Afternoon all ...bit of a gloomy day here ... misty and no sun. I can't complain because the previous three days were beautiful. OH and I had lunch out today and on the way it was lovely to see lambs in the fields and daffodils starting to come out, along with leaves on some of the bushes ... Spring is nearly here!!

    Diane - how lovely to see an owl in the nestbox ... did you notice if it was a ringed bird? I am so hoping that the barn owls nest again this year ... I love watching them. Great news about the safe release of the Cooper's Hawk!

    Alan - lovely mental pic of you speeding along on the trolley! Great pics you posted of the eagles.

    Annette - cleaning a self-cleaning oven? I did that too , with my new oven :-((

    OG - sorry you were feeling a bit 'off' this morning ... I hope it has cleared up by now with no ill effects.

    margobird - pleased to hear that your sister had a better sleep last night. Billy is certainly keeping you entertained ... it won't be long until he ventures even closer I am sure.

    Thanks to everyone else for chat etc.

    Take care.

  • Caught up will all your news.

    Did some ironing of curtains!!!! this morning, what a task, and then went to sort out clothing for one of the charity bags that frequently drop through the door.  Normally I just sort out for the Northants and Worcs Air Ambulance but as that had just gone and I'd sorted some things out for them I thought that maybe someone else could benefit as well.  My good deed for the day.

    Just been panning the wildlife cams and there was a perigrine on the Nottingham cam. ospreys on all three of the American cams. Wildebeast near the waterhole at Djuma and of course the numerous eagles' nests.

    Lovely captures of the takeover at Dunedin, and of the Panama City one, Alan.

  • Its been another gloomy day down here, Mr. Sun is up there but just can't penetrate through. Caught the weather forecast for tomorrow and they said it should brighten up in the afternoon!

    Caught these captures about 30 mins ago;

  • One or two more - can't resist.

  • OG - sounds interesting about the bunfight also the saying No rest for the wicked , I also add No peace for the perfect!

    AQ -- interesting work with maps and finding out what happened all those years ago. I'm finding my research into ancestry quite interesting but it does get frustrating at times.  I have not taken up a full subscription yet to view certain archives - it maybe that I will have to as with some ancestors I can't get much further on.   Also like your bit on healthy exercise - that puts me "dead" in about 10 years at that rate!!!!!!!!

  • Hello Everyone.  I just had to get my last quick fix before we set leave tomorrow (4.30am ugh) for Switzerland.  Some really super pics have been added, particularly from Alan and Lynette.  I had a quick peek at Lily and co this evening but all was quiet. Diane  Lovely to hear the news of the Coopers Hawk. TerryM I loved the video of Undercover Orchestra Bolero!!  I think I spotted you - with the red scarf?

    Take care one and all.  I hate to say it, but I will be looking forward to getting back here on 15 March - then not long until....
