4. 30 a.m. Me again. Sometimes, before I fall into bed, I look at the Groups page and see that my first post of the new day has 6 or 7 replies and get all excited, but then find out it's just me, posting updates! Nest is becoming visible...
super posts and photo's as always Paula, thanks
Paula thanks for the screen shot of Odin. He is quite elusive of late but so pleased he is still around. I just love looking at the screen shots and reading your commentary. This way I catch up with all the things I am missing. Just logged in again and only one girl on the nest who I think was finishing a meal. I will hnever work out who is who no matter how many times people tell me what to look for. Just to see any of them is such a treat now and I am dreading the day they go.

Paula the pictures are fabulous!! Thanks! I miss a lot due to the time zones. I especially loved the pictures of Rothes joining her sisters to defend the nest andthe fish. Together they make a formidable defense line!! The look on their faces makes it clear they are definitely not a welcoming committee
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
nest empty now so I assume the fish is finished. 8.17pm
Thanks everyone for the kind coments. Make the most of it all as I'm probably going to be signed back to work next week! But of course others are more than welcome to join in and post what they see on the webcam. It doesn't matter if you don't have photos to post.
Despite that horrendous rain it's turned into a lovely evening at Loch Garten
Mallachie (I think) is still tucking into the fish EJ brought earlier. No chance of that going dry after that shower!
Mallachie takes a break and tries to take off but realises that she's eaten too much and can't get lift off...
She tries several times before eventually managing to take off and leaves the nest....hopefully not sinking like a stone!
Make the most of today because, unlike Sky+, there isn't a rewind button.
PAULA: Thanks for the great pics, and especially for the one of the Osprey Centre! There have been lots of photos over the last 2 years, but don't ever remember seeing one of the Centre itself, which I have always had to imagine, not having had the chance to visit there myself. Sorry to see the Girls get wet today, they do look a bit miserable when soaked.
Paula so going to miss your live commentary and once again great picturesl.
Someone just arrived, had a sniff at the fish and promptly took off again.
Thank you so much Paula. didn't think I would get a chance to sit at the computer - grandchildren here and they are VERY chatty!! (I am apparently the greatest Nanna in the WHOLE world - but aren't we all?!!! It's all about the icecream, maybe----) Your pics are fab and I also will miss them if they stop.
Paula thanks from me too re pictures and comments. I'm sure hubby thinks i've lost it sometimes when I LOL . just watching webcam and someone has just flown in then out then in then out. Is that mist coming in or is my picture going hazy?
