Morning all: Here's to a good week for everyone. Check out latest pages of last week's thread to see great pix by OG of a kestrel on a road sign and a signpost for migrating birds and Gary's photos of the lovable Toffee plus his Toffee-proof technology. Just had dinner and managed to turn perfectly lovely piece of halibut into shoe leather! Hate it when that happens, but was busy watching weather forecast. Desk is looking cleaner - can actually see the surface now. Take care all!
The sun has come out here, too! Lovely. Specially nice pic of the Ospreys today, Alan.
Must go feed the washing machine and then an early lunch & off out, so no time to reply to any of your many posts - keep 'em coming! Have a Good Day, Everyone.
Good morning Alan so pleased you have some sun at last. We have had some this morning but gone a bit cloudy now and more rain forecast tomorrow.
Great news about the opsrey sighting, they must be on their way now and hope to see many more sightings in the coming weeks.
Lovely pic of the osprey chicks on advent calendar.
Thanks for the heads up on new blog from Alice, off to read that now.
Now you have washed your car hope you are not going to get rain again.
Sorry to read that Lady P's blood pressure is still high

Good morning dibnlib and what a good meal for a very respective price.
Good morning WendyB I hope your OH will get a diagnosis and the medication to help.
It would be so good if the ospreys did make use of the new nests, as you know it is not that far from me. We will have to wait and see.
Good morning Lindybird and I agree that is is great news about an osprey on British soil.
Enjoy your trip to see Sweetpea this afternoon, maybe there will be another photograph or two to post for us.
So pleased Diane won your competition. Her post about her shower was very heartfelt.

Good morning auntie and that article does make distressing reading. What makes it worse is that they are only now owning up to it.
Hello Diane poor you more snow on the wayand a spectacular storm as well.. Amazing how animals know when bad weather is coming. The birds in my garden seem to know when it is going to rain before I do because they all go off to roost early. Hope you don't have too much and get trapped indoors again.
Sounds like a good idea to me a robit to do the ironing and another one to the housewrk would be good.
Take care and be safe.
Hello aquilareen that meal sounds delicious and after looking at the link you posted I think I would be happy to eat most things on the menu.
dibnlib hope you enjoy your couple of days with your son and he arrives safely.
Sad about Mercedes but as you say she is quite old and they explained on the news that they could not a mate for Walker until she dies and from what they say they don't expect her to be with them for much longer.
Glad you got ot have your say about the solar installation. I hope they will come up with some satisfactory answers.
As I am typing I have Lily's cam on and there is an awful lot of suckling going on. Poor Lily will have lost such a lot of weight when she comes out of the den again in the Spring.
Wendy B so relieved your friends are safe. I was amazed when listening to the news from New Zealand that they have approx 14,000 earthquakes each year so I supposed people do get used the tremors.
Must have been lovely for you to watch the dolphins. We sat on cliffs at St Agnes a few years ago watching a pod of dolphins. Amazing sight as you say.
