OK. I'm here - where've the rest of you gone? Just kidding. Let's see how this goes. If it gets onerous, we can change it.. It's about 2 1/2 hours to first light at LG. Back then!
08.02 hours. I think it was Mallachie that showed up very briefly expecting second breakast but none of her sisters joined her and EJ and Odin were not there either.. Nest now empty.
Good morning Annette.
A message from Garten!!! " You have got my feathers ruffled this morning. I AM the sharing type, Maureen saw me the other day sharing my fish with Mallachie". "It's my big sister Rothes who doesn't share. So there!!"
It is getting too close to migration...I am dreading it. It is a pity we can't follow Garten's progress and we will never know wher she is. :o(
"Birds of a Feather".... ~( :o )
It certainly is getting too close to Migration, Maureen. I'm dreading it too. I am torn between not wanting a great big aerial sticking out of the back packs of Rothes and Mallachie and Garten NOT having one! Two years is a long time to wait. Wasn't Stuart's photo of Garten WONDERFUL !
Good morning all. was going to say logged on to an empty nest but then rothes and mallachie have just flown in and seem to be trying to protect it or something on it !!
09.03 Then there was one! Does anyone know if Karen is on holiday? She hasn't blogged anywhere for a while and I'd like to know that's she's OK. Thanks.
Garten was her favourite and she's going to be ecstatic about Stuart's photo. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
then there were none! thanks Annette for the report of fish delivery, even if it wasn't shared, this morning.
Ha! That would be a nice shot of juvenile preening if that branch wasn't in the way

Morning all. Thank you Annette for getting Day 2 up and running. Jane, I'm not sure if there's the option to delete your duplicate thread?
At 10.10 Rothes was on the nest before flying off just a couple of minutes later. It was nice of her to hang around whilst I got booted up!
Actually, from this picture it looks like Mallachie but as she stood with her back to us the orange of her nape was glowing in the sun. I'm sre it's Rothes but....
For info; all these images I post are saved (right click, save as..) from the still image camera webpage

Make the most of today because, unlike Sky+, there isn't a rewind button.
Am I getting this right in replying to the most recent post, even if I don't have any comment on its content? Facebook seems to be a popular option from the number of mentions. I must have words with my girls - they once said they'd kill me if I signed up (when it was fairly new and full of girly secrets). Maybe they wouldn't mind so much now. I guess that this will still be the main site for posts about ospreys when the LG blogs dry up later in the summer. Do we know whether there will be any 'official' comments there on migration issues?
